Chapter One-

I was a fool. I was a complete fool. When I agreed to share an apartment with my older brother of course I knew he would throw over the top parties. I knew he would be late on rent a few times, and he might not even pay once and a while. I even knew the chance of him bringing some idiotic girls over was high, but I over looked one thing I should have thought was obvious. My brother's friends would constantly be stopping by and nagging me. I was a lonely girl in a small space full of boys.

"Oh, come on! That's a shitty call! That was not pass interference!" Jack stood close to the TV and pop corn fell out of his hand as he screamed. I rolled my eyes as I sat on the floor and leaned against the couch. A pair of boy's feet was right next to me. A slow motion replay of the football play showed on the screen.

"Jack, the replay obviously shows that it is," I spoke up as everyone but Jack ignored me. Jack's green eyes turned to me narrowed.

"Who are you rooting for?" he yelled at me. I sighed and stood up on my feet. The football game was becoming annoying to me since the team I wanted to win was losing badly.

"That's right walk away," Jack threw the words over his shoulder. I held up my index finger and my middle finger.

"Imagine my index finger down," I told Jack as I walked away. His loud laughter echoed in the small living room, and I turned my back to him as I walked away.

"Why don't you just flip me off like a normal person?" Jack yelled to me. I turned around to face him again.

"Cuz she isn't normal," my older brother, Justin, said without taking his eyes away from the screen.

"Fine, I'm not buying you a Butterfinger next time I go to the store!" I told Justin as I walked to our small kitchen. He loved Butterfingers. Now, he wasn't going to get any. That's what he gets for making fun of me. I grabbed a cup and opened the fridge. Behind the cartons of beer and bottles of liquor, I found the bottle of apple juice. I smiled as I happily pulled it out of the fridge. My brother and I had just moved here yesterday, and I could already see how our apartment was going to be overrun by all these guys.

I heard a collective groan come from the living room, and I sighed along with them. The game must be taking a horrible turn for the worst. I brought out a bowl and filled it with crisp potato chips for the ten boys in my living room. I walked out of the small kitchen and stepped into the living room.

I set the bowl on the glass table and looked around. Bryce sat with his socked feet on the glass table; a black hat was pulled over his brown hair, and his arms were folded over his chest. He was a total sweet heart, but the dangerous kind. The emotionless mask he wore never wavered.

Next to him, on the tan leather couch, Christophe sat with a smirk on his face. He was watching Jack practically have a heart attack screaming at the referee in the television with amusement. Christophe's hair was a mixture of brown and blond; he was a perfect dirty blond. The edges of his face were sharp and defined. His eyes were a combination of blue and green that looked like turquoise.

Beside Christophe, my little brother had his hands pressed to each side of his face in anger and leaned his elbows on his knees. Robert was two years younger than me and four years younger than my older brother Justin. I had picked Robert up today so he could visit us. Robert was very into sports and always had a frown on when the team he wanted to win were losing.

On the floor with his legs stretched out, Adam had a bored expression on his face. Adam was my little brother's friend; he had the shortest temper I had ever seen.

Then there was Will, of course. He was the kind that took a girls heart and would crush it after he got what he wanted. I've seen it happen plenty of times. He was always making people laugh for stupid reasons. He always had a smooth smirk on his face, like he thought everything was going his way.

Jayland had his hair jelled like some crazy guy from jersey shore. He always had a pair of sun glasses next to him and had a weird style.

Zach had pulled up one of the kitchen table chairs as did Justin as was telling Justin some raciest joke. Sam was laughing as he listened in on the joke as he sat on the floor close to Zach's chair. I sighed as I glanced away from the ten boys. I was use to the chaos.

"Well that's fucking game!" Jack's angry yell filled the apartment. I looked at the score. The football team we wanted to win lost by ten points.

"Well that's wonderful, Jack. Now you can leave," I told him.

"You can't get rid of me that easily," Jack replied as his hands fixed his brown slightly spiked hair.

"Robert, Adam, let's go! I'm driving you two home."

"Charley, it's only nine," Robert protested with a look on his sixteen year old face that was supposed to make me feel stupid.

"Yeah, and you have school tomorrow," I added as I grabbed my keys off of the glass table. Robert looked at me before sighing and getting to his feet.

"You better be gone when I get back," I said to Jack as I narrowed my eyes at him. He held up his index finger and his middle finger. I turned my back on him and opened the apartment door. Robert and Adam followed me out.

"You shouldn't have left home, you know." I had dropped Robert's friend Adam off, and now it was just the two of us.

"You know someone has to look after Justin. He is-"

"I know. I know. It's just that I don't like being alone," he said with a frown. He was the youngest of the family, so he was the only sibling left in the house we grew up in.

"You only have a year and a half to go," I told him. He was a junior in high school.

"Don't remind me." He shook his head. I grinned as I turned up my Taylor Swift. His perfect blue eyes glared at me, but I saw his lips move a little. He knew the lyrics.

I tried pulling the pillow tightly over my ears. The vibrations were still able to break through my barrier, and the music crashed inside my peaceful mind. I was laying in my room trying to fall asleep since I had school tomorrow, but my older brother Justin and all his friends were just devoted to ruining my sleep cycle. I groaned annoyed, but I was use to falling asleep to noise. As long as the volume stayed somewhat the same I would be able to fall asleep although it would take me a very long time. I was finally drifting into sleep when my door flew open.

The sound of music grew as light shattered into my new bedroom. Boxes ran along the edges of my room still unpacked. I glanced toward the trespassers with furious eyes. Jack was leaning on the door way with a girl tucked under his arm. In his hand he held a brown bottle.

"Charley? What the fuck? Who are you in here with?" his voice was slurred and lazy.

"I am with no one and in my own fudging room! You know, the one I pay for! The one I-"

"Alright, alright. Stop talking," Jack said as he looked at me with annoyance. "would you mind leaving for a few minutes?" He looked down at the brunette girl and then he actually winked at me.

"Get the fudge out of my room, Jack!"

"You don't need to be a bitch." He tried to reach the door knob and back out of the room. He was uncoordinated and that was the reason the glass bottle of beer slipped from his hand and crashed onto my hardwood floors.

"That is it!" I threw the blankets off of me and stormed into the party.

"Someone's a lil angry," Jack said as I shoved past him and jumped over the glass pieces. I slammed my bedroom door shut.

"Where's Justin!" I screamed against the music. I needed to find my older brother, so I could scream at him.

"Don't know." UGH! I walked out of the small hallway and into the room full of life. Our small kitchen table was now a make shift beer pong table, and the couch was apparently the perfect place to practically have sex. On the edge of the room with his baseball cap slightly twisted on his head, Bryce leaned against the wall and watched the game. Everyone cheered as the small ball bounced into a cup.

"Bryce!" I shouted when I saw his familiar face. His head snapped to me, and his green eyes widened. He stared at me for a long moment. I made my way through the crowd of drunken college students and stood in front of Bryce. He held a coke in his hands and a diamond earring glittered in his ear. His eyes shifted around my body. I suddenly got an uncomfortable feeling.

"Bryce! Have you seen Justin?" I asked as I combed a hand through my blonde hair. He glanced into my blue eyes and shrugged.

"Ask Will." I could barely hear him. He pointed across the room, and I got the message. Leaning against the wall on the opposite side of the beer pong table I was on, Will leaned on one side of the wall and gazed at the girl beside him. I let out a frustrated sigh and began to weave through the crowd. I was normally not someone to confront people, but when it came to interrupting my sleep I was a monster.

"William!" I screamed as I made my way over to him. He didn't hear me. I walked up behind him and grabbed the material of his gray T-shirt. He was slightly thrown off balance as he pivoted around and faced me.

"William, I need to-" I began, but stopped when a small tingle ran up the side of my body. I found the source as I glanced down at his hand on my side. I shoved Will's hand away from me and glanced up at him surprised. My older brother, Justin, was very clear about no boys ever touching me. Especially his friends.

"Why the fudge did you just do that?" I meant to yell, but I think it came out softer than it should have because of my shock. He grinned as he leaned toward me. I backed up, and my feet hit the edge of the wall.

"What was that?" his voice was silk. His lively blue eyes scanned my body. I didn't know why his stare seemed so extensive, so I glimpsed down at my body to see what he was so entranced on.

My gray shirt was in disarray, and my hot pink bra showed perfectly. I was extremely gifted in my chest area, and a few random people had told me they were jealous of my D cup, not kidding. They didn't understand how I managed to be so skinny and still had big boobs. I never liked to show it off though, and I blushed as I saw how much was showing. Cleavage was unintentionally spilling out. My black super soft pajama shorts were the kind that almost looked like underwear.

While I was looking down, Will had managed to get extremely close to me. My heart leaped in my chest, and I could feel a nervous excitement jump through my body. My hand hastily flew to my shirt to correct the alignment and push it up. Will's hand caught mine and pulled it away from fixing my shirt.

"Now, why would you want to do that?" His breath pressed up against my ear, and I shivered. The way he spoke made my breathing hitch. I lost my thoughts.

Fire spread down my body as he ran the back of his hand down my arm, and then it was too late for me to stop him. His lips lingered over mine for a moment as if waiting for me to stop him. When I didn't move, the gap became nonexistent. My heart leaped in my chest. An exciting tingle swept through me, and stimulated my physical emotions. I returned the kiss with an eagerness I didn't think I had. His tongue slipped past my lips, and his lean body pressed into mine. A spark went through every piece of me that his body touched. A faint tingle of alcohol tainted the kiss. My hands grabbed onto the gray material of his T-shirt in order to bring him as close to me as I could. As I sucked in a breath, William's hands ran up the side of my body. As his hands peaked under my shirt and ran up my side I made a sound I didn't think I was capable of. The sound made him kiss me more impatiently. The room I was in felt like it had dropped out and no longer existed. As he broke away to take another breath, realization finally hit me.

I turned my head away. I snapped my eyes away and felt my chest rising and falling with labored breaths. I sat there for a few moments before I looked into William's passionate blue eyes. He stared at me with a hunger I wasn't going to fulfill. He leaned toward me again, but I pushed him back with my hands that still fisted his shirt. I stood on the tips of my toes in order to get closer so he could hear me.

"William…You're drunk," I whispered. I sank back down I let go of his shirt. The two places I had gripped were now wrinkled. He grinned at me.

"So?" he answered as his arms reached out to grab me again. I slapped his hands away.

"So you're not thinking like you normally would," I scolded him as I crossed my arms. My heart was still beating fast from our kiss.

"Oh, trust me. I'm thinking as I normally do. I just actually have courage," he slurred his answer. I stepped away from him.

"Charley, wait!" William called after me, but I was already hurriedly shoving past people. I gazed across the room to find Bryce. Had he seen? I pushed past the dancing couples and caught Bryce's eyes. His head was slightly tilted in wonder as his eyes sank into mine. He knew. He had to know. Fudge. I slammed my bedroom door, locked it, and jumped over the broken bottle. I would deal with that in the morning. I stared at my door and fell asleep to pounding music after a long time of just calming my fast beating heart.

Hello! I would love reviews : ) especially constructive criticism! I know I mentioned a lot of characters and their names at once, but don't worry about it! Let me know what you think? ;)
