On September 25th, I went to the Joel Grey concert at the Concert Hall.
The concert was very interesting. Some of the songs (OK… maybe close to half…) I never heard before. At the very end, he sang a medley of songs from Cabaret, which he starred in (both the movie and the original Broadway musical).
It was really funny because in between the songs, Joel told these really funny jokes and personal stories. Some of the personal stories were about the parody songs his dad, Mickey Katz, performed. My favorite was the parody of the "Davy Crockett" song. It was really funny to hear this 78-year-old little old man telling these really dirty sexual jokes.
