A/N: Hey guys! Here's some more Zanstan for you. God, I love these guys so much. :3 Zander, Tristan, Giles, and Reina are my own characters. Please do not use them without asking first.
Zander and Tristan walked into the movie theater with their finger's laced together, their tickets for the movie Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Giles and Reina strolled along beside them, Giles arm around his girlfriend's waist. The two couples had decided that going on a double date that Saturday evening would be fun since all of them hadn't hung out together in a while.
Giles pointed to the Concessions. "Reina, you want some popcorn?" She raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"Of course I want popcorn. You can't watch a movie without popcorn. That was a stupid question." Giles chuckled a bit at his girlfriend—she was never afraid to speak her mind. He pulled her closer and pressed a kiss to the top of her head, making her smile.
"Popcorn it is. I'll get a medium…those things are giant."
"I'll get some for Zander and I," Tristan said, piping up and turning to his boyfriend. "How about you and Reina can find seats? Us guys will get the food."
"Wait a minute." Zander interrupted, frowning. "I'm a guy too." Giles laughed.
"I'm pretty sure your boyfriend is well aware of that." He shook his head and expelled a breath. "I know too much about you guys." Zander's cheeks flamed up and he directed his gaze to the floor.
"Let's go find seats," he muttered, starting to walk away.
"Zan," Tristan began to say, and Zander turned around, expecting some sort of witty comment.
He did not, however, expect a kiss.
By the time he had turned half way around, his boyfriend's lips were on his. They were soft and tasted slightly like the grape soda that Tristan had downed before they left the house. And of course, there was his lip ring that Zander was oh so fond of. But before Zander could get his wits about him to kiss back, Tristan had pulled away.
"Try not to miss me too much," Tristan murmured softly, grinning. Zander's mouth was still open as he tried to figure out what to say, but he still hadn't figured out anything by the time Reina dragged him away.
"You have it bad for him," Reina wondered aloud as she walked beside Zander on their way to the theater. "How does he have that much of an effect on you?" She turned and looked at Zander, who's cheeks were still red. He shrugged.
"I really…I don't know. He just does."
"He does indeed." They walked inside the dimly lit theater and Zander pointed to a row of open seats toward the back. After sitting down, Reina put her feet up on the seat in front of her and twisted her upper body so that she was facing Zander. They stared at each other for a moment before Zander spoke up.
"Name your favorite thing about Tristan."
"That was random."
"Just answer it. And I'll do the same for Giles. Hurry, before they come back." Zander sighed and swept his dark hair out of his eyes, his snakebites just barely gleaming in the low lights.
"Do you realize how difficult a question that is?"
"Just answer it!" Reina snapped, folding her arms across her chest and arching an eyebrow. Zander thought for a moment—there were so many things he not only liked, but loved about his boyfriend. How was he supposed to pick just one?
"You're taking too long," Reina grumbled, continuing to wait for a response.
"He's really…he's really caring. He always goes out of his way to make sure that I'm alright. Do you remember that week where I was just depressed and down in the dumps? I didn't feel like doing anything or hanging out with anybody that weekend. But Tristan came to my house and just let me lay against his body with his arms around me for hours until I felt better. He didn't even try to ask what was wrong because he knew I didn't want to talk—he was just there." Zander bit his lip and blinked a few times, coming back to reality and facing Reina.
"Wow. No wonder you're so smitten over him."
"Oh shut up."
"So what's your favorite thing about Giles?"
"Yeah Reina, what is your favorite thing about me?" Both Reina and Zander whipped around to see Giles and Tristan standing behind them with the popcorn in their arms, both with equally wide smirks on their faces.
"Zander, that was really sweet," Tristan said with a grin. Zander smiled a little and directed his gaze to his lap as Giles sat down next to Reina and Tristan slid into the seat next to him.
"I can't believe you heard that," Zander muttered, hiding his face in Tristan's chest so that he wouldn't have to look at his boyfriend's smug expression.
"Seriously. That was really cute. I'm glad you think of me that way."
"Well, it's true." Tristan raked his fingers through Zander's hair, making him shiver and look up. With a smile, he leaned closer, pressing their lips together. Zander melted into the kiss, his hands grabbing fist-fulls of Tristan's white jacket. Zander felt his boyfriend's tongue glide over his bottom lip and he parted his mouth slightly, allowing Tristan in.
"Oh come on guys, even we have the decency to wait until the movie starts to make out." Tristan broke the kiss and was about to retort, but Zander pulled him back by his jacket and kissed him again.
