AN: This is a spin-off to my other story, Meeting My Future In-Laws. Enjoy :)

"Dev, behave!" I warned him, swatting his hand away from my butt. "My parents will be here any minute."

"Sorry babe. I can't seem to take my hands off you." He grinned. I just rolled my eyes. I turned around and gave him a peck on the lips. "There, that'll have to do."

I pulled away when the door bell rang. "I'll get it!"

"Baby, will you calm down? Look at me, do I look nervous? No." He answered his own question.

Huh. Liar. I knew he was dying inside but I kept quiet. "Sure you don't." I said as I opened the door.

"Hey Liv." I smiled when I saw Bryan at the door. I have always liked Bryan, even before I met Devon. Actually, he was the one who introduced us.

"Hey Bryan. You are the first to arrive." I closed the door after him.

"So, are you nervous?" I opened my mouth to answer him but Devon beat me to it.

"No, nope, definitely not nervous. Right, Liv?" He started rambling as he walked towards us.

"Hello, my dear cousin. You don't look nervous at all." He said, staring at Devon.

Devon let it slide, ignoring his sarcastic tone. He pulled Bryan into a man hug, whispering something in his ear in the process. I am pretty sure it was something about being nervous. I chuckled.

We were sitting in the living room when the door bell rang the second time. Devon froze in his seat and started fiddling with his hands. I have to admit, he looked so damn adorable.

"Come on, Dev. Time to meet my parents." I let out a nervous laugh and glared at Bryan who looked...well,amused.

"He is so cute!" My sister Amanda stated in a high pitched tone. I smiled.

"He is, isn't he?" I glanced at Devon who was sitting with my parents in the living room. They seemed to be in a heated conversation. My dad was laughing along with Bryan so I took it as a good sign.

We were in the kitchen, checking up on the food. I had a clear view of the living room but I couldn't hear what they were talking about. Damn.

"I think Dad likes him." Amanda said, over her shoulder. "He is doing fine so far."

To be honest, I wasn't expecting him to be so...relaxed. As soon as the introductions were made, his nervousness had gone away. He looked really confident. Well, no complaints from me.

"Thanks Mandy." I turned around to see my sister. "I'm glad you came."

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." I smiled genuinely and pulled her into a hug.

"Sorry to interrupt."

I pulled away and saw Devon standing in the doorway of the kitchen.

"It's okay." Amanda assured him. "You were probably dying in there."

"No, no of course not. I just came here to ask if dinner was ready." He said, his eyebrows furrowed.

"So you were dying in there, huh?" I asked with a smirk.

"Yes, I think I can't breathe." He admitted, trying to breath in and out dramatically.

I chuckled and shooed him out of the kitchen. "Tell them dinner is almost ready."

He frowned as he left the kitchen, dragging his feet.

"So, Devon, what are your intentions about my daughter?" My dad asked. We were sitting at the dinner table, trying to enjoy our meal. Well, so much for enjoying...

"Umm- well, I..." Devon stuttered. I glanced at my sister who looked rather amused. Bryan snickered at my Dad's question, causing me to glare at him.

"Dad..." I tried to interrupt.

"I am just trying to talk to Devon here, sweetie. Well then, Devon, another question for you. What do you say your...intimacy level is?"

Devon choked on her water when he heard the question. My eyes widened in shock and I glared at my dad. Bryan and Amanda were trying to stifle their laughter. Oh God, poor Devon.

I pulled my hair up in a messy bun and waved my hand around in order to cause a breeze.

"Is it just me or is it really hot in here?" I asked, in a pathetic attempt to change the subject.

I cringed when Amanda and Bryan froze and started staring at my neck.

"What?" I asked them, horrified. Devon glanced at my neck before taking a sip of his water and started coughing again.

"Honey, what is that? On your neck?" My mom asked.

"Holy shit Livy, is that a hickey?" Amanda asked with an amused and horrified expression on her face at the same time.

"Oh fuck." I tried to find the hickey with my hand and attempted to cover it.

"Well, I guess this answers my question." My dad stated - he did not look amused.

"Umm, Dev, honey..." I looked at him, slightly worried. He looked like he was in a coma. "Umm, guys, we'll be right back."

I pulled Devon out of his chair and towards the kitchen.

"Dev, why in the hell did you give me a hickey?" I asked him hysterically.

He snapped out of his trance and sighed. "I didn't do it on purpose!"

We stayed silent for a minute. I scanned his whole body, the light blue shirt he was wearing, his messy hair...

He met my gaze and gave an end to our suffering as he burst out laughing. Soon enough I joined him and we kept laughing until tears started rolling down our cheeks.

When our laughter died he pulled me into an embrace.

"I know this is not what you hoped for, babe. I am sorry."

"What are you talking about? This is perfect. I've always wanted my parents to know about our sex life. Your parents do, so I guess this is only fair."

He chuckled and kissed the top of my head. "I love you. No matter what. And even if your parents tell you to break up with me, you are not getting rid of me that easily." He grinned.

"I love you too. And, are you crazy? There is no way I'm breaking up with you. You are just too sexy to break up." I said, returning his grin.

Someone cleared his throat behind us and caused us to jump apart from each other. My dad was standing in the doorway of the kitchen, followed by my mom, my sister and Bryan. He opened his mouth but closed it when Devon started talking.

"Before you say anything, Mr Davenport, I would like to say something." My dad raised his eyebrows and nodded, telling him to go ahead.

"Well, okay here it goes...I love Liv. I respect her and I care about her – a lot. So, yeah, my intentions are serious. I hope I'll marry her one day and hell, I'll sound so gay saying this but she is the one for me. Finally, about the intimacy thing...yes, we've had sex."

"OH GOD, Devon!" I exclaimed hysterically. My sister and Bryan were trying to stifle their laughter – again. I blushed and covered my face with my hands. This didn't stop Devon, though.

"And if you give me your approval, I will be more than happy. But if you don't, that's okay. Because, you know what? That won't stop me from loving her. Soo, yeah, I think that's all." Devon finished his speech and took a deep breath.

I glanced around the kitchen. My mother had a shocked expression on her face, probably due to the fact that she learned we had sex. Amanda and Bryan weren't laughing anymore. They looked rather scared.

Dad met my gaze and started chuckling. "I was just going to say that you have my approval. After the dinner incident, I have to say, I wasn't so sure. But when I saw you two laughing and joking around just a minute ago... You seemed happy Livy and that's the only thing that matters."

Devon sighed in relief. "Thank you, Mr. Davenport." He pulled me to his side and kissed my forehead. I looked up and smiled.

"Well, Devon, that was one impressive speech." My mom said. She seriously looked impressed.

"Yeah, especially the part where he said they had sex."

"AMANDA!" I screamed, blushing.

My dad cleared his throat. "I guess we have to talk about the... intimacy thing."

"Well, umm... you see, when two people love each other..." Devon started. I immediately shut him up.

"Oh for God's sake, DEVON!"

Soo, what do you think? I hope you liked it. I absolutely love this couple :)
