Everything has changed
For better or worse.
It's irreversible,
Unchangeable.
Things are different
Between the changing worlds.
The planets once aligned
Fall
Out of orbit,
Colliding in space.
The flowers here
Wither and die;
Their colors fading
Into black.
The crimson roses
Drip, blood red and clotting,
Dropping like raindrops,
Seeping
From the broken glass.
Where are we?
The air here is bitter
And harsh.
Holding on tightly
We fall
Together
Into the depths
That are blacker than hearts.
Planetary suns
Cannot brighten this place
(wherever this is).
It's a lost world,
Unnoticed
By the earth.
You fade, I fade,
Then... Nothing
