What do I see as I open my curtains?
Dead rivers and bare mountains
I can see the once-lavish land bare
I can also see garbage here and there
In today's civilization
Let's have appreciation
To the gifts Mother Nature gave
And for all the things we have
But is destruction what we repay
For the things that make us happy and gay?
Is it right to ignore global warming?
Is it right to do just nothing?
Land, water, and air pollution
River and forest destruction
Haven't we had enough of these?
Or do we want more of these?
All we can do is to unite
Fix our world and set things right
To be as one is what nature please
So we can have what we want – peace
