"Are you ready?"

"I'm perched at the edge of this poured rock monstrosity amongst this choking smog and you ask me if I'm ready?"

"We only have one shot at this."

"As I'm well aware. I'm the one actually doing the dropping. Do you see him yet?"

"No. He should be here shortly."

"Well keep an eye out. There are a lot of mortals here."

"You're the one who protested the choice."

"I still don't think he's right but the others agreed on him. Who am I to argue?"

"Good. Ah! I see him. We'll be out of this accursed rain soon."

"What, afraid of a little water?"

"That's easy for you to say, you damn water-horse. My hat is getting wet and it's losing its colour."

"This is exactly why I said I should do this alone."

"You'd only have-Here he is! Here he is! He's almost under us."

"Alright, I've got the vial, just get him to-He's looking up. He's already looking up!"

"Drop it! Drop it now!"

"Do it!"

` "Ah!'

"Y-you missed? How could you miss? A century of planning gone to waste because you missed one mortal's eye!"

"You're the one who told me to drop it then!"

"You're the water element. I expected you to be able to actually hit him but you missed!"

"I might have missed him but I got the girl. We might be able to salvage this by using her."

"Salvage this? With some unknown mortal girl? We'd spent years choosing him after the century of planning this out. How in the name of Alberich's hairy balls are you going to salvage this?"

"Well I could have missed and hit the ground and we wouldn't have anything to show for it. At least we have the girl. If I can find her and bring her around to our side, there won't be a problem, now will there?"

"That's exactly why we had picked out that mortal. But I suppose it's far too late for anything to be done but work with this mortal girl. I should be the one to explain things to the others and you can deal with the mortal. You're the prettier of the two of us anyway."

"Then I'll see you when I've got her thinking our way."

"You'd better. If you can't, the others will kill you."

"And that's different from every other day how?"
