We Were Bad

They told us once when we were young

But now we're old, we take no heed

For old advice from times gone by

Old wisdom that we do not need.

They told us once,

They told us twice

We all agreed,

Took their advice:

"Do not run with

Them in your hand.

You don't know where

Their blows could land."

But now we're older

Apparently "wiser"

We do what we want,

Ignore our advisor.

So now we break

Once hallowed laws

Is a lost cause.

Many think it,

Many are wrong.

They don't understand we

Feel we don't belong...

So we stretched out our hands

And those hands bled

When we decided to

Play with the scissors.
