Flesh on flesh alights such flames

And lips that brush

And teeth that bite

And hands that caress

Also tender touch of an understanding empathy

With eyes that speak and form great epics

Yet mouths do not utter a single sigh

Stolen moments in the dark

Where mouth meets mouth in such dancing haste

A need to please and feel and taste

The choice is not ours, but the familiar burn

"Mine," it cries, when lovers eyes meet,

"Mine forever and eternity"
