Susie was at her locker, putting away her notebooks from Biology, when a pair of arms wrapped themselves around her. Chrome Bumper then leaned down and kissed her. "I like, missed you so much…" he said to her. "Oh sweetie…" Susie's voice trailed off as she let her boyfriend hold her. After a spell Susie finally forced herself to say "Okay,"—addressing him by his first name, which only she was allowed to do—"somebody might see." Chrome Bumper let go of his sweetheart reluctantly, when he noticed something he hadn't noticed before.

It was the door at the end of the hallway, which, since Susie's locker was number 9999, meant it was about ten feet from where they were standing. It was a large metal door, typical of high school interiors, with a sign that read NO EXIT. "Hey Susie," he asked, "What's behind that like, door?" Then Susie turned and looked at the door, too. "I don't know," she said, "I've never seen anybody use it before." So they decided to ask the janitor. The aging Parsi looked at the door and replied "Oh, dat door. Dere is not'ing behind dat door. Don't worry about it." And went about waxing the floors with a level of skill only a Zoroastrian can attain.

But Chrome Bumper and Susie weren't going to not worry about it. They really wanted to know. So Chrome Bumper used a screwdriver to pick the lock, and what lay behind the door shocked them…

The door swung open out into a massive, empty black abyss. Chrome Bumper shone a flashlight into the void, but to no avail. Susie dropped a pencil into it, and it fell…forever. They closed the door back. "I guess he wasn't kidding when he said there's nothing behind that door!" Susie said. "Now I see why my friends call your locker the like, locker at the end of the earth." Chrome Bumper said. Then Susie suddenly remembered they were only half through the school day. "Oh man!" she said, "I'm late for English!" She knew that would mean detention. "I'll get myself a like, detention, too so you won't be alone!" Chrome Bumper said. "Awww, you're so sweet!" She said, and they took off for their respective classes.
