THE KNIFE!
By Trevor Miles
My heart it sighs for her tender embrace
Her hair a sea of glistening brown waves
Yet now she is gone frozen in her place
I sit and cry for her it does not save
I see the knife its blade of steel souless
The blade so sharp and cold it's cold as ice
I feel it's sting and see the bloody mess
It promises freedom that's its deadly vice
Now I sit in eternal dark forever
The pain I still feel multiplied threefold
My family crys and asks why with that knife
That damned knife the blade cuts skin so cold
I am in 'ell because of suicide
But now I sit with my love who had died
