Ouse

Place a stone in my pocket

For each voice that arises

How they scream for release

Inside they dig out

Laughing

Clawing at me

As I claw at you

Textured pebbles under feet

As swiftly currents do fill

My stockings

What they ask for I do not give

What you need I shall grant

Place a stone in my pocket

Weigh me down some more

Place a stone on my head

I breath no more.
