So, I'm writing this letter to you. Obviously. I know you know why.
The thing is, I listened to what you said. I know it didn't seem like it, but I was listening. It's just… I don't agree with you. I can't. This isn't something we can just sweep under the rug, you know? This is big.
We haven't known each other very long; I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing yet. Maybe if we'd met earlier, you'd agree with me. Maybe I'd agree with you. I suppose that doesn't make much sense to you.
But we're not that close. Which is why I'm ignoring you. I'm sorry, but I'm sticking with my beliefs. They've kept me up this long, and they're not about to let me down now.
I guess my point is that, I'm doing this.
