"Perhaps you could change your way of life," he mused. "That could drastically improve your situation."
"You think it's that simple?" She retorted. "You think I haven't tried. Some things are just impossible to change. "
"Maybe you could talk to them, explain what you're going through, try to make them understand why you're different." he said.
"They wouldn't listen. Their ignorance and prejudice make them all the more dangerous. You belong with the majority. You wouldn't understand." She replied.
