Dear Diary,

Mommy tells me that Daddy is going to be gone for a while. I don't know if he is coming back. Mommy tells me to not worry about it because he always comes back. She told me yesterday that he loves me, and that he is protecting us from the bad guys. I love you Daddy!

Love,

Dear Diary,

There is a puppy outside. He runs around and chases his tail. He goes round and round and is now lying on the ground. Like he is frozen. I asked Mommy if I could play with him, but she told me not to go outside. She says the dog is bad and that I can't go play with it. I want a puppy.

Love,

Dear Diary,

Mommy has been crying since Daddy left. She does it in the bathroom when she is taking a bath, but I can always hear her. I want to tell mommy that it is going to be okay, but I am scared.

Daddy why won't you come home? Help Mommy please. She needs and loves you. I love and need you too. I say my prayers every night for you and for Mommy. Daddy, please come home.

I also saw a man outside. He was like a ghost and his eyes were red. He was standing in front of the house. He was just looking at us.

Daddy, I'm scared.

Love,

Kaitlin Marie Miller

Dear Diary,

Daddy isn't back yet. Mommy still cries everyday and doesn't take me to school anymore. She tells me that the bad people are at the school and she doesn't want them to hurt me. We stay inside the house now with all of the windows having blankets on them. She told me we can't go outside anymore. It's not safe.

Mommy is starting to scare me. She goes into her room and talks. But no one is in her room with her. She keeps saying that they are going to kill us. I don't want to die, Daddy.

Love,

Kaitlin Marie Miller

Dear Diary,

I looked outside today. There are people walking around. They all looked like that man I saw before. They are scary. Mommy pulled me away and slapped me for looking outside. And now I'm in my room.

Mommy keeps crying still. Did I do something wrong? Daddy won't come home and now Mommy is scared. Why won't you come home Daddy? I miss you. I'm sorry for what I did. Just please come home and make Mommy feel better.

Love,

Kaitlin Marie Miller

Dear Diary,

I'm in the basement. Mommy told me to stay here until the bad people go away. I can hear people upstairs moving. The people keep breaking things and I want to go and yell at them. But Mommy told me that they were the bad people and that I need to stay down here. Mommy is up there with them.

Daddy hasn't come home yet and I want him here. I hate being here without him. I want to be with Daddy.

I can hear Mommy come down the stairs. She is covered with this red stuff. They are the color of her eyes.

This is the diary of Kaitlin Marie Miller, who is about six years old. We found her in the basement of her home dead. Her mother is nowhere to be seen, and we believe that Kailtin was the victim of being feasted upon by her mother, Rachele Miller, after she had been infected. We pray for the life of Kaitlin Milller and hope that she may rest in peace.
