Its funny how words can change things.
How with three syllables you can destroy and remake me.

And with two words,
you can condemn me too.

How a book can change a life;
re-mould my plans and ideas,
and create new loves and friends for life
within the printed pages.

With a brief or long-winded letter
a person can destroy a life.
Or remake a forgotten happiness,
inspire dreams, or crush them.

Words dance like spiders
across silken pages,
or slippery tongues.

They can cut like dripping daggers,
and heal wounds.
Inject poison like crystal fangs,
or be an antidote to sadness.

But arguably:

There's no need for these words of fancy,
if a single picture can paint one thousand.
