You can't save someone who doesn't want to be rescued. You just can't.

The moment life began to felt like it has given up on you, you'd start giving up on yourself. And when you've given up on yourself, nothing else can save you. No other outside voices can reach you. Millions of empty gaps would be left in your heart as if someone pulled the trigger right there and then. You'd feel the urge to scream something out—just anything— even if you knew no one's listening and there never will be.

Maybe unknowingly, you're all still waiting for someone who would save you— and you'd realize you haven't completely downed yourself in misery— that someone who wouldn't give up no matter how many times they fail to grab hold of your lingering faith.

That's only because you don't give up on the people you love. And you shouldn't too, had you loved yourself.
