Restrictions

Every day life is the same aged tune.

Get up, shower, and go to school,

never changing or wavering.

But there are those rare moments when

everything orderly goes away

and disorder and chaos come out and play.

When there are no more restrictions.

No more skirts.

No more white, white shirts.

Freedom and comfortable shoes come out,

vibrant rainbows filling up the once grey spaceā€¦

it is all fun and games and so very, very good

until the end of the day.

when arranged normalcy regains the stately throne

and you are left to think,

until another day when chaos reigns,

I will wear bright neon socks

and dance in the rain.
