I look up and what do I see?

Nothing

What do you see?

Many'

But what do I see?

Nothing

I asked my mom

the first time we were here

"Where are the stars?"

She said

"There are no stars where we are"

Gone

Just like that

There is

Nothing

I want them back

They bring a new light to the sky

They're more powerful than the moon

But their gone

Why?

It's a simply answer

Pollution

There is too much here

I think I'm going to die from all of it

Not from old age

Like I wanted

It's an empty sky at night

So bland

But the land is a different story

You can't go more than a few feet

Without bumping into someone

When you look up from your mid-night walk

You see

Nothing
