You and I agreed we would give anything
To be like the dolphins disappearing
Into the restful water
We would do it together as always,
You and I, like two swans gliding through skies.

Through the treacherous storms and darkness
Enclosing, our hands held tight,
No force would break our hold.
Or so we thought – you and I,
But the plans changed.

As you pushed me into a boat,
The inevitable sank deep,
We had agreed to do it together, not just you.
You gave everything to be like the dolphins
Disappearing into the restful water.
