Chapter 11
"Morning mom, dad." Serenity said with a smile on her face.
"Morning dear. Today is bacon and eggs." Her mother replied.
"That's sounds good mom." Serenity replied and took a seat next to her father who is reading the morning newspaper and drinking his cup of coffee.
"How are you feeling Serenity?" Her father blurted out suddenly out of the blue.
"I'm fine but my head hurts a little though." she said as she rub the back of her head.
"Okay that's good 'cause that's a sign that your are starting to remember things now."
"Well that's really good news." Serenity replied with a grin on her face.
-After Breakfast-
"Mom I'm going to school now! Bye!" Serenity hollered.
"Take care!" Her mom hollered back.
-At School-
"Hey Serenity!" Her classmate Frances
"Hey Frances! What's up?" Serenity said.
"Did you know?"
"What?"
"That Jarvis and Marcus are having a fencing match after school. And they said that if one of them loses he will stay away from you! Isn't that romantic? Having two cool guys fighting for you." Serenity heard it and was shocked, she stood from her seat and looked for Marcus inside her classroom but he is nowhere to be found and their first subject teacher arrived.
-After class-
Serenity hurriedly looked through the classroom in the building if Marcus and Jarvis are around. And she was lucky enough to see her friends at the lobby of the building.
"Hey Serenity! If you're looking for the two they are already at the room where the fencing club usually practice." Sammie said
"Oh no! I have to stop them!" Serenity exclaimed.
"You can't Serenity! They're doing what their hearts command, all of us neither the teachers nor you can't interfere them both until they have a winner." Liza said seriously.
'What should I do? I remember in my childhood days that they are my two best friends. I can't just let one of them fade away from me. They've done so many things to me, they protected me especially Jarvis who protected me from those men and not to mention Marcus he also protected me from his fan club. Why did I even caught in this situation? Do they like me since we were children?' She thought
"Hey Serenity! Let's hurry and watch!" Liza said. And Serenity just nodded and run towards her friends.
-At the clubroom-
"Hey are they serious?" other people said
"I don't think no one can stop them even the teachers can't."
"I hope they will be alright." Emily said
"Hey Emily! Has the match started yet?" Liza shouted
"No not yet. I think they are waiting for Serenity." Emily murmured
"Why are they doing this?" Serenity said a little loud for her friend to hear her.
"Because I care for you Serenity and I want to be the only one to protect to." Jarvis and Marcus said at the same time as they looked at Serenity. And she just blushed because of all they people who are staring at her.
"You're so lucky Serenity! Having two hot guys for yourself!"
"I don't want to be selfish... I just want to be friends again like we to be in our childhood days."
Jarvis and Marcus looked at each other and raised their sword and stance, then the referee signaled to start the battle. Serenity couldn't watched her to friends fighting just because for her sake.
"So...Serenity who do you think will win?" Her Lisa said not taking her eyes off from the battle.
"I don't know..." Serenity replied.
'Both of them are really my friends I don't want to lose one of them, they've been so good to me, they protected me especially Jarvis who protected me when I was at the park alone because of Marcus. Marcus really hurt my feelings, I can't believe that he just said those things to me when he protected me from Natasha are all just nothing at all... Maybe-' Her thoughts were cut off when the crowd goes wild because of the battle and when she looked up she saw Jarvis is the only one standing, while Marcus is trying to get up from the ground but failed from the fatigue in their battle.
"The winner is Jarvis Wright!" The referee call out and the crowd goes wild even more, half people watching the fight went to Jarvis and the other half went to Marcus. Serenity didn't know which will she will go first. Sammie nudge her and Serenity looked at her friend and she said to her,
"So what now Serenity, now that you know the winner who do you choose?" Serenity is fidgeting her thumbs together and she felt like crying, she felt tears are starting to form on her eyes. She couldn't looked at the people in front of her but then suddenly a hand laid on her shoulder and she looked up and saw Jarvis standing in front of her and he said,
"You know that I can wait for your reply. I can I mean me and Marcus can wait for your reply." Jarvis said.
"I don't want to be selfish, I just that after this thing we are still friend like you know no weird atmosphere, no tension starting or anything negative. So I'm saying this once Jarvis." Serenity replied and the peoples ears perked up and listened to Serenity while Marcus is standing straight looking at Serenity intently while Liza, Sammie and Emily are grinning at their friend.
"*sigh* I'm sorry Marcus but I think Jarvis is the one." The people around them gasped from shocked and Marcus' eyes when he stared at Serenity is filled with sadness and sorrow while Jarvis' expression is priceless, then Marcus rose from the floor and went towards Serenity and Jarvis and he held out his hand and he said,
"*sigh* You better take care of her or I will take her away from you and go to somewhere place around the world where you'll never find her not in a million years." And Jarvis took Marcus hand and they shook hands and they pulled each other in a brotherly hug and the crowd 'awwed' at the moment. Then Marcus pull away from Jarvis and he went to Serenity and hugged her tightly and he whispered,
"Take care always." And Serenity cried in Marcus' arms and she hugged him tightly and after a few minutes Jarvis step towards in front of Serenity and he said,
"I love you Serenity." And the crowd goes wild, some are whistling, some 'awwed' at the moment while Emily, Lisa and Sammie grinned at Serenity and Marcus just smiled at the both of them. Then Jarvis jugged Serenity tightly then they pulled away from the hug and Lisa suddenly screamed,
"KISS HER!" Then the crowd suddenly also joined in Lisa chanting the word she screamed and Serenity blushed and hide her face but failed to so because of Jarvis' wrist who held both of her wrist and he leaned closer and he kissed and then the crowd goes wild again and they pulled away then Serenity said,
"I love you too Jarvis, p-please don't l-leave me, o-okay?" She said while her head is down and Jarvis just chuckled at the cuteness of Serenity. He put his fingers under her chin raise it up for her to see him straight in the eye and he replied back to her,
"Like hell I would do that you." Then suddenly the doors of the clubroom opened and they saw their adviser and she said,
"Why are you all doing here? And is it time for you to go home?" Then the students run outside the room leaving the adviser alone inside and she just shook her head and she said,
"Kids these days." Then she went out of the room as well and went back to work.
