So idyllic, the daisies,

they laugh and they shout.

With crystal white dresses,

and bright yellow 'crowns'.

On twenty green grass strands,

they dance and they sing,

do astonishing pirouettes,

and flutter their wings.

Oh! Fairies of Summer,

come, give me a bless,

and dress me in feathers

and pretty, green, flares.

And help me, become;

Child of the Sun,

and carry my worries away,

till their gone.

The love that I gave 'you',

I might take it back.

So 'gift' me a daisy,

and you'll win my heart...
