Quarter Kilo

Sun chatters along my cheeks
Sneak up behind
Kind of a push, I need
Sidewalk chaperone
Still caught your breath

Sit in shade
Sipping unsweet, sweet tea
Lost admist the vegetables
Struck by your gaze
Sizzled, looked elsewhere

Hair drapes over your face
Sweat down mine
Grab you, but not by hand
Measured

Back in your office
Cell screen snaps off and on
I lament for it
Not beating
