(FULL SUMMARY:

Koki Yamato, a popular high school junior, believes his life is relatively normal. He gets decent grades, is the heir to an enormous family fortune, is a star athlete, and is recognized as the school idol. However, one morning when he meets a boy named Chitose Fuyuki, who claims to be his childhood friend, his whole world is turned upside down. Koki comes to realize that he's lost parts of his memory. The only parts he's lost, however, are those related to Chitose. A startling revelation indicates that Koki and Chitose's relationship with one another ran much deeper than a simple "friendship". How will Koki deal with the struggles ahead?

Chitose's life hadn't been easy. As a child, he had been teased for his girlish appearance and shy nature. His parent's social status and wealth only set him farther apart from other children. The only person he was truly close to was Koki Yamato. The pair had been inseparable since birth, and they knew each other better than anyone else. However, when Chitose loses his parents and is sent to Hokkaido to live with his reclusive grandmother, he is torn away from his dearest friend. After two years without contact, Chitose returns to his home town. However, his reunion with Koki is anything but the warm welcome he had always imagined. In fact, Koki can't seem to remember him at all! Chitose must find a way to accept this turn of events and overcome the challenges of his own loneliness. What will come of their forgotten childhood promise?)

Preface: Yuube~Last Night

The soft tapping of raindrops on the window seemed very loud in the dark, quiet bedroom. Chitose didn't bother to turn on the light upon entering, and dropped his backpack on the floor at the door. He scanned the familiar room. It hadn't changed much in the past two years. He swiped his dripping bangs off of his forehead and smiled fondly at his familiar surroundings.

Then his gaze landed on the bed where a mild, seventeen year old boy lay sound asleep.

Chitose's heart skipped a beat as he approached.

"Kou-chi..." He whispered, kneeling at the edge of the bed near the boy's face.

Chitose reached out and brushed a strand of midnight hair away from the boy's eyes. It had gotten long since the last time Chitose had seen him.

His heart thundering in his chest, Chitose eased closer to the other boy's face. He closed his eyes and placed a tender kiss on the sleeping boy's lips.

"I'm home."
