"WE ARE GATHERED HERE TODAY TO REMEMBER THE SHORT BUT BRIGHT LIFE OF GRACE FORBS," THE priest speaks to the mob of people gathered to remember my Grace. I sit beside Mrs. Forbs and Jenny, holding both their hands. Most of the ceremony goes by quickly with tears and fond memories until I am called up to speak. Both Mrs. Forbs and Jenny squeeze my hands and offer me reassuring smiles as I get up to tell all these people I don't know about my girl.
Once at the podium I place my hands down firmly for support. I look out into the crowd and mutter the only words that come to mind, "I will always love Grace Forbs."
