In the beginning he was just a boy with long hair and big eyes

she slipped into the sleeping bag with him;

she was cold, and it couldn't hurt much.

her bare legs intertwined with his jean covered ones

his arms curved to fit, sculpted for her head to rest

his rumbled chuckle sent shivers through her,

and she shimmied closer

she stared above at the back drop of stars,

twinkling above, making each movement and sound

seem twice as romantic

he grinned as he pointed his flashlight up-

he thought he could reach the airplane with his light;

and for a moment, she did too
