Innocent, curious, our conscience unfurled.
We marveled, we laughed, we slowly grew fonder
Of this new thing called life; we could only wonder,
At the shining secrets hidden in the world.
Supreme and invincible on our throne we ruled,
We conquered new boundaries as we got older,
The fire of more dawns made us even stronger,
Until our existence faded and blurred.
What is the point now of the carefree laughs?
Where did our passion, strength and power go?
What became of the things we cherished most?
None, nowhere, they are no more;
Without exception, it was all lost
And turned to a corpse's eternal woe.
