Graduation Night

"Hey, Alex!" Joey Corbin called to Alexandria Nolan from across the hall of their brimming high school.

Alexandria quelled the urge to run and stopped to let him catch up instead. Then she started walking again with him at her heels.

"Hi, Joey."

"I just wanted to tell you that you looked especially hot tonight." The teen who had crushed on her since she couldn't even remember when produced a wilted red rose from behind his back and held it out to her.

She accepted the flower gingerly. "Thanks, Joey. Look, I have to go find Bri and ask her something. I'll see you around."

With that Alex walked away from Joey, supposedly in search of his twin sister, Bri, whom she had seen earlier leaving with Tristan Ellis, another one of her classmates. She dropped the rose in the nearest trashcan she walked by, and then went in search of the person she really wanted to spend her graduation night with, Court Marshall. He was her real boyfriend, social classes be hanged.

Seeing Court at the end of the hallway, she hurried towards him. Reaching him, she grabbed his arm and pulled him into an empty corridor.

"Hey!" Court yelped when Alexandria stopped pulling him. "Oh, it's you."

"Yeah, just little old me." Alexandria replied, winding her arms about Court's sturdy waist. "Nothing to fear here."

"I guess not." Court tucked a lock of her frosted blonde hair behind her ear, tilted her head and kissed her. He groaned.

"What?" Alexandria asked.

"I want more."

Alexandria stiffened. "Don't start, Court. Our parents would kill us."

Court pulled her against him, and she rested her head against his shoulder. "You know I won't. You're beautiful and I love you."

"And I love you."

Court smiled at her, changing his train of thought. "Who would have thought that Ms. Popular And Rich would be in a plain-old cowboy's arms, predicting his death – on graduation night no less? Not me."

"Or me. But you know what? I kind of like it."

"So do I."

Okay, pointless and short fluff, but could you review anyway please? Thanks. :)
