I lay these words
Down into white pages of my yellow diaries
Quote the pages black and blue till
The last empty spot is blotted with ink

Colors of my pain, shades of my blood
When they're poured out into slanty words
They join together to become indecipherable

They hide my secrets, these strange symbols
They bury the shards inside my stomach
They hold the key to my thoughts
And they find no end, they know no bounds
They're going to spill more than ever
If you keep them locked up.

Yet...strange how those white pages
Of my yellow diaries
Are the only world my words will ever see
