Ok, so I know one thing that will be weird in this chapter: Brightdale's name. I KNOW that it says Mason in this chapter, and it will continue like that for the rest of the story. To set the record straight, Brightdale's name gets changed due to...upsetting circumstances in Hope. Just know that Mason and Brightdale are the same person.

It all started in July, years and years ago.

4-year-old Mason pounded on the piano keys, on the lower notes so it would be more annoying. She knew, of course, that it was useless, but she could try... After all, she did not particularly want to go anywhere. Brightdale was a nice place, and she didn't feel like living in a house all the way across the country. She couldn't visit her friends, and besides, Georgia was so much nicer than California, wasn't it?

Wasn't it?

And there was a long flight ahead, and she could remember all too well the last time she was on a plane. When it was landing, her ears exploded.

Well, okay, they didn't explode, but they sure felt like they were going to.

The piano was sitting out in the middle of the front room, along with basically all the other furniture they owned. Mason's mother yelled from the room behind her.

Mason took this as a sign to stop, so she hopped down from the piano bench and walked away to the other room to mope. The movers were still there, but Mason hadn't exactly expected them to leave due to her horrendous piano abilities. She just had done it out of anger.

But, after all, it couldn't be so bad. Mason knew that after awhile, she wouldn't care anymore. At least, she hoped not.

And before she knew it, they were on their way to the airport in Athens.

Well, I tried my best. Chapters will be short, but I will make them as funny/adventurous as I can. Updates will be about once every 2-3 days, once a day if I can manage it.
