The Lake of the Beloved: The Beginning

Peaceful as a spring day in full bloom, as bright as the rising sun, no harm and no evil could come upon my lake, my garden. Let rain fall down and nourish my flowers, for my lake cannot live without them. Only kind and nice people are allowed, for darkness is not the way. Let light shine forever, and not be intimidated by the hands of darkness. In night let the fireflies light up my lake, and watch over the garden. Let everything sleep, and in day, wake.

I. The Girl, The Guardian of the Lake

did...you...see...it? She asked

can...you...hear...me? She asked again

i...want...another...chance...help...me

She died to protect this lake.

She was a Beloved.

Now she is a mear spirit that lives on in her own way.

But fate changes faster than the death of the light.

One day, she touched the water.

She thought she couldn't

And lived again.

"Peaceful as a spring day in full bloom"

II. The Fairy, the Manifester of the Lake

I saw a nice little river one day.

It was very small and noone heard about it

I made it my secret place

Whenever melancholy came to me, I came here

I saw the magic.

Flowers bloomed everywhere.

Trees grew.

The river was bigger now.

Light was shining everywhere.

They gave me that power of nature; the beautiful wings

I was turning into a fairy.

The lake was brighter and everything could be reflected in it.

"As bright as the rising sun"

III. The Shield of the Lake, The Reflector of the Darkness

You cannot come here if you are cruel

I will reflect you back; I will banish you

You will not hurt our lake. I won't let you

Did you think you'd win, Darkness?

It is you against us

"No evil could come upon my lake, my garden"

IV. The Mermaid that Resides in the Lake, She who Nourishes the Flowers

I give the gift of the water, to help these beautiful flowers

Which I always want to see

When it rains, please think of me

I want to know I'm doing a good job

To keep the beauty of this lake

I want to see the flowers too

Their so beautiful

As when the rain falls

"Let rain fall down and nourish my flowers, for my lake cannot live without them"

V. The Evaluator of the Lake, The Seeing All Eye

I can see hearts of darkness and hearts of light

I know who is going to be cruel and who is going to be nice

You cannot get away from me

So stop thinking you can

It is foolish

I will not let it come to pass

"Only kind and nice people are allowed, for darkness is not the way."

VI. The Trees who Step Aside for the Lake, The Bringers of the Light

We must move aside dear brother, to let the light pass

Cant we stay though?

Yes we can, all we have to do is just move a bit

So we can stay?

Of course. This lake is large and full of happy things

We can stay, we can stay!

The Girl never said we couldn't

So lets move aside, to bring the light, to bring more happiness!

That we shall

"Let light shine forever, and not be intimidated by the hand of darkness."

VIII. The Fireflies who brought themselves to the Lake, They who talk about themselves

When the moon rises and night comes, we light up this dear lake

You see, there can be light within a darkness

Well-the darkness that can be good, anyways

We saw the lake and came, and stayed

We helped the lake at dusk

And do that we shall again and again.

"In night let the fireflies light of my lake, and watch over the garden"

IX. The Flowers of the Lake, The Ones Who Strive Again And Again

Look at us now, we are cared ipon

We're so happy!

Lay upon us and we shall help you be at rest

Only with your help, shall we still be here

So please help us

Please think about us

We want to be here forever

To help all of you in your times of need

Lay upon us, we will help you heal your wounds

We will help you sleep peacefully

Only with your help, shall we still be here

So please think about us.

"Let everything sleep, and in day, wake."

The girl was happy again. Her hurt was vanquished and her darknesses forgiven. She cried. But this time it was for joy. She had her own true fantasy. This is not the end. It never was for her.

The Girl Who is Happy Now, The Girl Who is the Queen of the Lake

I am happy now.

I feel no more hurt.

Thank you for forgiving my darknesses.

Thank you for getting rid of the hurt.

You are forgiven, dear mother.

You are forgiven, everyone else who hurt me.

I can cry of joy now.

My fantasy is revealed.

This is not the end of me.

I see the blade I used.

I picked it up.

I say: This was never the end of me.

"The girl was happy again. Her hurt was vanquished and her darknesses forgiven. She cried. But this time it was for joy. She had her own true fantasy. This is not the end. It never was for her."
