I am a 13 year old girl who has never known love. All through primary school I have not had a single crush. I was at year 7 camp and we were all in our cabins. But I had no clue what they were talking about. Why do girls like big, strong, and tall people? What does a tuxedo have anything to do with it? I never knew love. All I knew was that there are two types; love and crush.

I was walking around. It was recess and I didn't realise I was being followed. "Hi!" I looked up. A boy was standing there. My heart jumped. I was not expecting someone to suddenly break the silence. "Uh, hi." I said quietly. The boy looked at me. "Can we talk?" I looked at him. "About what?"

The boy was very short and looked around 12 years old. "About anything, I guess." I racked my brains trying to think of something. "Um, you know the farm teacher Mrs. Macfee?" "Yeah?" I smiled. "Well, one time she had two buckets of sheep food, and she dropped one, and as she went to pick it up, she dropped the other one!" The boy giggled a little. "And then," I continued, "A big ram knocked her over and she fell in the pile of sheep food, and all the lambs started eating around her!" The boy laughed and so did I. I felt a warm feeling but I didn't know what it was. Then, the bell rang. I started off, but then I heard the boy's voice. "Wait!" I turned around. "Yeah?" The boy looked at the ground. "Uh, meet me at the library at lunch!" "Okay!" I ran off. I felt excited, but I didn't know why. Yet…
