Slipping Off the Edge of Sanity

"Chris! We shouldn't even be looking at these files. Think about what would happen if the government found out we hacked one of their computers. Do you want to go to jail? I have a good reputation and I don't plan on ruining it now. Let's go do something else before we get caught." I was constantly checking the window to see if my parents were coming back from my sister's concert at school.

"Dude, stop worrying, we aren't going to be caught. Besides I'm good at covering my tracks, they won't even know what IP address to look for."

"My parents are going to be back soon and you're telling me to relax? Might I add that we're just juniors in high school?"

He swung the chair around and looked me straight in the eye and said, "Look, we are not going to be caught. I know how to cover up my tracks, I hacked Tan Dailin's computer, the leader of NCHP. He never figured out who hacked him, neither could anyone else in his group of hackers. I can hack anyone I want and they will never know it was me."

"That was you? Do you have any idea what he could have done with your computer if he caught you? Is there anyone you won't hack?"

Swinging back to the computer screen with a devilish grin, he said, "Nope. Nobody is safe from me, not even the president."

I looked out the window and caught a glimpse of my parent's car pulling up the driveway and panicked.

"My parents are home Chris, hurry up!" I said just as I heard the garage door open.

"Jason! Jason! Momma says I'm the best singer in the world. I wanna be a singer when I grow up."

"That is so awesome Hannah! You'll make a great singer." I honestly meant it too, she has a very good singing voice, and if I didn't know any better, I would have considered her an angel.

Hannah is my 9 year old sister who looks up to me and usually does whatever I ask her to do without complaining. She has big ocean blue eyes and blond hair with a little blue ribbon in her hair keeping it in a pony tail. She also has a way of convincing people to do things for her, even if those things could get them in trouble. She's the best little sister I could imagine having.
