I ignore you but as soon as you have power,

Watch out, I just might come after you.

Kings, Queens, Presidents, I've taken out them all.

Sitting on your throne, you think you're safe,

But I'm right behind you.

You might be a tyrant and you might not.

I don't care either way.

I've taken out the good and the bad.

Throwing kingdoms and nations into chaos is my specialty.

Watching them scramble for your successor is my hobby.

Truly it's nothing against you

but sometimes those in power need a reminder,

That there is always someone who can take it away.

I could be your closest advisor or a complete stranger.

I've taken them out by poison, guns, and swords.

I'm not picky.

But it's my cold hand that will be the last thing you feel.

So be careful.

When you go to sleep tonight,

You might not wake up in the morning.

They say that in the second before our death, each of us understands the real reason for our existence, and out of that moment, Heaven or Hell is born. Hell is when we look back during that fraction of a second and know that we wasted an opportunity to dignify the miracle of life. Paradise is being able to say at that moment: "I made some mistakes, but I wasn`t a coward. I lived my life and did what I had to do."
- Paulo Coelho

A/N: These are companion poems for my story, The Other Side of Death, after their respective characters. I might just add Suicide and Deicide just to add more depth. Deicide I think would be interesting to write. Please Review!
