Soul blade: Omega Genesis

Prologue: Legends of old and darkness of new

Legends tell of a Darkness...a Darkness long contained, a Darkness that could destroy the very existence of humanity. In the first age, the Darkness came from its fiery depths to destroy our world, kings and pawns alike fell to this unstoppable force, it was on the fateful day of which humanity made its last stand, in their final standing fortress: High Robor, situated in the East land. It was when the Darkness arrived and humanity arose to do battle for the last time, until three heroes arose, each carrying a mystical blade, and ended the reign of Darkness. The Darkness was no match for the light of the weapons of the three heroes, and thus was defeated. After this the heroes lived in as a beacon of hope for all humanity. However as eons passed, the heroes grew old, and eventually passed, centuries passed until once again the Darkness arose again, awakened from its slumber by the sacrifice of human souls. Humanity panicked, and attempted to fight off the darkness with no avail, until once again, three heroes arose, and destroyed the darkness, sending it down to the depths of hell to sleep eternally...or so they thought...

10 Centuries later... In a dark cavern:

A dark robed figure approaches a grotesque shrine, the only light coming from a solitary candle, screams of pain and fright echo about the cavern "soon...we will have enough souls to revive you again...Dark Lord Jorgild..." he said, removing his hood, revealing a pair of bloodshot black eyes, and a pale drawn face, and long thick silvery hair. "Very soon..." he murmurs.

That was Sarit, the high priest of darkness, and he is attempting to bring back the darkness through human sacrifice... Meanwhile, outside the cavern of despair, it is a changed world... They have entered the modern age in the land of Eriofh, yet the way of combat remains swords and magic. In the five lands there is momentary peace, mostly because the international holiday of Light Day is fast approaching, the memorial of the day so many centuries and eons ago that the first heroes emerged and defeated the darkness. It is for this celebration that our story begins...
