I think I saw a monster.

I think I shook his hand.
He called himself a human.
He said he was a man.
He acted so nice to me,
Told me I was smart.
He had a charming smile,
But I think he lacked a heart.
Cuz when we passed that homeless man,
I put a dollar in his cup.
But the monster pushed him down,
And I couldn't help him up.
That day I met a monster,
Who called himself a man.
That day I met a monster,
Who growled at me,
So I ran.
