Beautiful Night

The beautiful stars shine,

In their lovely design.

Illuminating the night sky.

Here no one can see me cry.

At night, I let my tears fall.

At night, I let myself bawl.

In the morning light,

I must pretend to be alright.

I am forced to be a fake,

And hide my ache.

But at night,

Away from morning light,

I can release my pain,

And let my stored emotions drain.

At night, I can be myself.

At night, I take my emotions off the shelf.

I lie my head on the soft grass.

Away from the people who harass.

I reach for the knife,

To finally end my life.

At night, I no longer have to lie.

At night, I can finally die.
