A/N: I suddenly realised a few days ago that Varen has two of his poems on here, and that I've only mentioned that Uzuri has written some, so I figured that I should write some for her! So, here it is. This is a Glosa-style poem, which originates in Spain, and is written as follows: there are six stanzas in my poem, but it depends on the number of lines in the first stanza plus one (you'll understand when you read the poem), the first – and also the refrain – has five lines. After that, stanza 2 starts with line 1 of the first stanza, and you write the same number of lines as the first stanza extra (so since I had 5 in the first stanza, my second will have 6 lines). The next stanza takes the next line from the first stanza, and you follow this pattern through to the end of the poem. This is a terrible explanation until you read the poem; I'll add a link to Elfwood, which explains it much better, I think. . There it is, along with several other forms as well. I thought it was incredibly comprehensive, and easy to understand.

Uzuri's Poem

I feel the breeze take my thoughts, sings to me
As I lie in the grass, dreaming of love
Given by one with raven hair, violet eyes…
Sunlight takes my dreams, makes reality
Of all that which I desire in this life.

I feel the breeze take my thoughts, sings to me
Tunes of love and exquisite beauty
Of Aphrodite's endless bounty.
How one can steal my heart with such grace,
With barely a touch, just a whisper
Of ivory hands and raven hair…?

As I lie in the grass, dreaming of love
I dream of violet eyes, eyes which
Speak of untold mysteries to me.
I see his angel's face when I dream,
Feel him pull me into a graceful dance
Amongst the bright, silver stars of night.

Given by one with raven hair, violet eyes
Was love, peace and glorious pleasure
Of companionship and faithful trust
I cannot deny either of us.
Like freshly fallen snow, this is pure;
Our own bubble here on the dancefloor.

Sunlight takes my dreams, makes reality
Someone so perfect and makes him mine,
Just as I will be his; O Varen!
Take me away, free me from this world
And take me to our perfect place, far
From here, yet so close to our joined hearts.

Of all that which I desire in this life.
I know I seek the love you give,
Your sharp wit and whispering touches,
The stolen kisses and vows of love
We exchange at the dark, midnight hours.
Hurry, my love; let me feel your caress….
