How to Forget Christie (R)
It sounded like a great idea when Franklin first proposed it. A week long party vacation at the lake with the gang. But those plans were made during spring break before shit hit the fan.
Now, four months later, going to the lake with his friends was the last thing Cola wanted to be doing considering he was going stag, sitting in the back seat of Franklin's car as Franklin drove like a bat out of hell with his girlfriend Sandra seated next to him.
Cola should have been snuggling with his long time girlfriend Christie in the back seat but she had left him for some dink she met at college and Cola was suddenly the odd man out. It was shocking to be without Chris for the first time since sophomore year in high school and he wondered if the pain would ever go away.
His psyche was still bruised by the breakup and the only way he knew how to deal with the sorrow was to close himself down and deflect his friends' concern with indifference. He hadn't doing much since his return from college except working and hiding out in his old bedroom at his parent's house. Franklin practically dragged Cola from his self-imposed hibernation and that's why he was sitting in the back of the car sulking as they sped toward Sun Rise Lake.
"Dude! It's summer!" Franklin laughed. "The lake is fun."
Cola rolled his eyes. "Yes, I know."
"So cheer up," Franklin demanded. "We're gonna have a great time."
"Yeah, it won't be so bad," Sandra said with a warm smile as she glanced at Cola over her shoulder, her blonde hair blowing in the wind from the opened window and her pretty blue eyes masked by her large sunglasses.
Cola gave her a disinterested look but he nodded to acknowledge her comment. He knew that his friends were right about the lake but how could he have fun when he was miserable? He appreciated his friends' encouragement but they were happy in their relationships and their lives so while their support and sensitivity was appreciated how in the hell could they possibly know how low he was feeling?
Cola didn't want to ruin their good time and he tried to put a positive spin on the getaway but he knewthere was going to be plenty of booze and sex for them and while he would certainly be drinking plenty of booze he wouldn't be getting any sex! He'd drink himself into a stupor and cry over Christie and then end up bummed out and dejected while everybody else was getting laid.
Cola sighed heavily and suddenly he felt incredibly dejected thinking about the week ahead.
"We're here!" Franklin sang as he slowed the car down approaching Sun Rise Lake Village.
Cola had been to the lake house plenty of times before. The property had been in Franklin's family for generations although the original "Lake House" as the Craven family called it had burned down a few years earlier. Cola remembered that summer only house as old and big and full of photos and collectables and neat old stuff.
Now there was a modern one floor year round house on the property with an open kitchen/living area, two large bedrooms, and a large bathroom. The house had "two fronts" with porches on both sides of the structure and a screen porch on the driveway side of the cottage. On the other side of the house was a wing with eight small rooms for guests. There was also old barn, a tennis court, and a boat house on the property.
"Man, I never get tired of this place!" Franklin exclaimed as he took a right onto Shore Road, past the golf course and the Sun Rise Lake School for Boys before reaching 'the point' of the Lake where he turned left onto Point Drive. They passed the ROBINSON sign at the end of the first drive and turned right at the 'Craven' sign another twenty feet along the road.
"Oh, look, Allard and Lisa are already here," Franklin noted as he pulled the car to a stop behind Allard's car in the driveway.
Cola glanced out the window to see the gang's odd couple seated on the back of Allard's car trunk. Allard, the all state athletic jock in high school, big and burly and tough, seated next to the much more delicate and serine Lisa who Cola hadn't seen since Christmas break.
"Where the hell have you been?" Allard demanded. "We've been here for forty five fuckin' minutes!"
"How many beers have you had?" Franklin laughed as he climbed out of the car.
"Shut up, Craven," Allard ordered. "We're on vacation aren't we?"
Sandra and Lisa hugged as Cola dragged himself out of the back of Franklin's car.
"Oh Cola!" Lisa said with sympathy, sounding as if somebody had just died. "I'm so sorry."
She gave Cola a hearty hug. She smelled wonderful and for just the briefest moment Cola felt an unfamiliar sense of warmth as he held on to her, her red hair dancing in the breeze from the lake.
"How you doing? I'm glad you came. Forget about Christie. It's great to see you. It's going to be okay. I know you'll get through this," Lisa said as she held on to him.
"Thanks," Cola mumbled as he finally broke the embrace and went to help Franklin dig the bags out of the trunk of the car.
"Yeah, tough break with the cone head," Allard remarked as he took a sip of beer and then belched.
"Ew, gross," Lisa complained.
So, the group was back together again, minus Christie. They had been a team since high school. Actually, Cola knew Franklin since kindergarten and Allard since middle school. Sandra, Christie and Lisa all came along at various stages during high school and now, two years into their careers at different colleges, here they were together again only without Christie and Cola felt like somebody had cut off his leg.
Franklin unlocked the cottage and let the rest in. Cola glanced at the large likeness of the original Lake House hanging in the open living area in tribute and memorial to the family's roots. Franklin and Sandra took the master bedroom while Allard and Lisa grabbed the second larger room. Cola traipsed down the small hall to the wing with the smaller rooms, grabbing the first room on the left with a view of the lake outside the window. He had the entire wing to himself and he felt lonelier than ever, especially when he heard the laughter of his friends coming from the other rooms.
The Craven Cottage had already been used several times that summer by family and friends so there wasn't all that much prep work to be done. The canoe, row boat and sail boat were already in the water, along with the dock and the raft and the speedboat in the boat house was all gassed up and ready for use.
Franklin, Allard and Cola made a quick road trip to the nearest grocery store to stock up on food and supplies (including plenty of beer) and by the time they returned to the cottage, Lisa and Sandra were already on the beach sunning themselves.
Cola was feeling sweaty from carrying the grocery bags so he took a quick shower in the cottage's one bathroom (the old house had three bathrooms!). He was just stepping out of the bathroom still dripping wet with a towel clinging dangerously from his waist when he was startled to see Lisa standing in the doorway.
"Oh, sorry, thought everybody was down at the lake," he said, glad he hadn't decided to make a nude dash for his room down the hall.
"Its okay, Cola," Lisa assured him, but she looked slightly flustered at seeing him in a relatively compromising position.
Her eyes took in the sight of his well toned body, watching with interest as drips of water he hadn't dried from his body sneaked their way under the towel.
"I thought I was alone in here," Cola explained.
"Don't worry about it," Lisa assured him as she stepped by him (resisting the urge to pull the towel off) and into the bathroom, closing the door behind her as Cola headed down the short hall to his small bedroom.
Was that a spark of electricity both of them had just felt?
"Can you believe this weather?" Sandra asked as she smoothed sun tan over her legs as Cola joined the others on the beach.
Lisa, back from her trip to the bathroom, nodded in agreement as she buried her face in the book she was reading and she didn't look at Cola who tried not to look at her either even though she was clad in a stunning white bikini that barely covered her particulars.
Ironically, when he thought about it, Cola actually got along better with Lisa than he had with Christie. Christie was a continuous challenge: high energy, high maintenance, outspoken, opinionated, self-indulgently intelligent and generally a snob, while Lisa was down to earth, funny, fun to talk to, and easy going.
Allard was already half drunk, semi-passed out in his chair as he stared out at the lake. Franklin was busy with his IPAD and not paying much attention to the others.
"So, Cola?" Allard mumbled, grinning with mischief as his friend took a seat on the other side of Sandra. "Who's this dipshit the Cone Head dumped you for?"
"Don't keep bringing her up, Allie!" Lisa protested. "You know how hard this is for Cola."
Allard laughed. "No, I don't, but do tell, Cola."
Cola's friend could be an asshole, especially when he was drinking.
"Nothing to tell," Cola sighed sadly. "Except that it's over."
Cola glanced away unsmilingly as Allard laughed at his own foolishness. Cola caught sight of Lisa and was captivated by how her blue eyes danced across the page she was reading and how appealing she suddenly looked to him. He tried not to notice her lovely breasts barely covered by her revealing bikini top that hardly hid anything at all. Christie was sexy in her own way but now that she was gone Cola couldn't help but notice Lisa's lovely figure and it dawned on him just how attractive and sexy she really was.
But then he frowned remembering that Lisa was Allard's long time girlfriend and that he wasn't supposed to be noticing how sexy she was. He wished Christie was there so he could be properly distracted and occupied with her instead of feeling horny and lonely eyeing Lisa.
"You'll meet somebody new," Lisa predicted, glancing at Cola. "And then it will be Christie's loss." Her curly red hair was bouncing in the wind as she sat in her beach chair.
"Maybe," Cola said, but his response was forced.
The lake routine was pretty straight forward. Party hearty, drink heavily, eat with abandon, and then adjourn to the bedrooms for sex, although Cola was forced to adjourn alone to his small bedroom and fantasize what it would have been like if Christie was still with him. She had been his first and only love and they had been together for nearly five years, from innocent high school dates, to the surrender of their virginities, to high school prom and graduation and into college.
But they had gone to different institutions - Cola to the University of Connecticut at Storrs while the intelligent and talented Christie headed for Yale. Their relationship seemed to make the transition from high school to the real world of college, at least for the first year. They saw each other most weekends and on the holiday breaks, and they had summer after their freshman year together but when they got together during Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks Sophomore year, things felt different between them.
Christie was distracted and distant and the sex had grounded to an almost stop. When she didn't come home for spring break (claiming course work and commitments kept her at Yale), Cola saw the red flags flying and even though he committed Christie to Franklin's summer getaway to the lake he knew that there was a distinct possibility that he and Christie might be on the rocks by then.
The break up came in an e-mail which Cola felt was beyond disrespectful and mean. He never bothered responding to her communication and he never heard from her again. It was over.
And now here he was at the lake without her and although he planned on spending the entire week in one continuous drunk, he really hadn't been drinking all that much even thought Allard was drinking enough for all of them.
Cola hadn't seen Allard yet on the second day of the getaway as he stood in the kitchen window watching Franklin and Sandra getting all goosey-loosey down by the lake shore and he sighed with envy as he made himself a ham sandwich.
"Good morning," Lisa said, stumbling out from the second bedroom.
"Good afternoon," Cola corrected with a grin.
"Oh," she said, rubbing her hair.
Her eyes were bloodshot and she was obviously hung over.
"Sandwich?" Cola offered, holding out the plate toward her.
"No thanks," she mumbled.
She went to the refrigerator and dug out the carton of orange juice. She was wearing panties underneath a long tee shirt and Cola couldn't help but notice her buns under her panties when she bent over.
"I can't keep up with Allard's drinking," Lisa announced as she poured herself some juice.
"Nobody says you have too," Cola pointed out.
"That's true," she agreed, glancing at him. "I'm really glad you still came, Cola," she said. "I'm really sorry about what happened."
"Did she say anything to you about it?" Cola asked as he took a seat at the kitchen table and ate his sandwich.
"It's really none of my business," she answered, leaning against the kitchen counter and looking at him.
"So, she did," Cola determined.
"She told me at Christmas she met somebody new," Lisa confessed with guilt. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't betray her confidence."
"Christmas, huh?" Cola sighed. "Wonder how long it had been going on before that."
"Does it matter?" Lisa asked.
"Guess not," Cola admitted.
He felt her looking at him and he glanced up at her. "What?" he wanted to know.
"Nothing," she said, looking slightly flustered.
"So, how are you?" He asked. "How's it going at Trinity?"
"Great, fine, wonderful," she said.
"And how's it going with Allard?" He almost teased.
She rolled her eyes. "I'm starting to wonder."
"Wonder what?" He asked with surprise.
"I don't know," she sighed, glancing toward the bedroom to make sure he wasn't up.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm starting to think maybe things are different between him and me now," she admitted.
"We're going to be college juniors, right?" She sighed.
"Yep," Cola confirmed.
"So how come it feels like Allard never left high school?"
Cola laughed. "He hasn't changed much has he?"
"But I have," Lisa replied. She eyed him for a moment. "And you have too."
"Tell it to Christie."
"Oh, forget about Christie!" Lisa said forcefully. "She was never right for you anyway."
"What?" Cola asked with surprise. "What are you talking about?"
"Come on, Cola," Lisa said. "You two were our odd couple."
"I thought you and Allard were the odd couple," Cola replied.
"You're probably right," Lisa admitted. "Anyway, Christie's smarter then Einstein. What'd you think was going to happen once she got to Yale?"
Cola let out a long heavy breathe of air. "So, this guy is some brain like her?"
"Apparently," Lisa admitted. "But don't worry about it."
"I'm here alone," Cola grumbled. "How am I not supposed to worry about it?"
"You're not alone," Lisa insisted. "You have the rest of us."
"I'm alone at night," Cola informed her.
"I guess," she realized, giving him a sympathetic smile. "Sometimes lately I wish I was alone at night," she revealed.
"Uh-oh," Cola said.
She sat at the table across from him. "Cola, I'm really starting to feel uncomfortable being around him," she whispered. "He's drunk all the time and he's really trying my patience. This isn't high school but he's still being an ass wipe about everything."
"He went to community college," Cola semi-joked.
"Yeah, and now what's he going to do?" Lisa wanted to know. "Work for Franklin's family for the rest of his life?"
Most of them had gotten jobs at Craven's Markets and Franklin was destined to be a career man with his family's business. Cola and Allard still worked there summers and holidays but now that Allard was done with his two year junior college, he seemed satisfied with returning to the market full time.
"Would that be all that bad?" Cola wondered. "It's a solid job."
Lisa waved her arms dismissively. "He's just not motivated about anything," she complained. "It's really starting to suck being with him," she revealed.
"Jeez, Lisa." Cola gave her a concerned look. "You're not going to dump him here, are you?"
"No, of course not," She assured him. "I don't want to wreck it for Franklin and Sandra."
"Good," he said with relief. "I don't want to be around when this goes down."
"Coward!" She giggled.
"He won't take it well," Cola warned.
"Worse than you?" Lisa teased.
They heard a belch, burp and fart from the bedroom and a moment later a coughing Allard stumbled out of the bedroom wearing nothing but a pair of gray boxers and he nearly fell into the bathroom.
"Prince Charming is awake," Lisa noted.
Cola glanced up at the clock on the wall. It was one o'clock in the afternoon.
The toilet flushed and Allard emerged from the bathroom, walking into the kitchen scratching his hairy stomach. He went to the refrigerator and grabbed a beer.
"Do you want something to eat?" Lisa asked. "I can make you a sandwich."
"Na," he said, grabbing a banana off the counter and heading out the back door.
Cola could tell that Lisa was clenching her teeth.
"Isn't it romantic?" Cola teased.
"You're really enjoying this, aren't you?" She complained.
"Misery loves company," he replied.
"You're a mean bas—!"
"Just kidding," Cola said with a grin.
She shook her head with disgust. "See what I have to put up with that guy?" She wanted to know. "He's drinking already."
"He's on vacation."
"Yeah, and what am I doing?" She grumbled.
Cola gave her a sympathetic look. "I'm glad you came," he said sincerely. "Otherwise, I'd have nobody to talk too."
Lisa seemed pleased. "I'm glad you came too."
He stood from the table and went around to her side, standing behind her chair. He was directly behind her and he put his hands on the top of her shoulders.
"We're both going to be okay," he determined.
"I hope so," she replied.
Cola found that his nose was near enough to her hair so that when he breathed in, a pleasant perfumed smell tickled his senses and he inhaled deeper, lifting a hand to caress her silky mop.
"Your hair smells good," He said in low husky whisper.
He felt her stiffen in her seat and he could feel the blood rushing to his cheeks.
"Thanks," she said softly.
What was he doing flirting with her!? He rubbed his hands down the sides of her head and exhaled heavily while trying to ignore the tension that he felt rising between them. Was he so desperate and sexually deprived that he was willing to forget every standard by hitting on his friend's girl? Had he sunk that low?
One of his hands dropped onto her shoulder again and he felt her put her hand on top of it. She looked up at him and smiled. This was crazy!
They heard the others approaching the cottage. Cola slid away from Lisa's chair and returned to his seat.
"Hey you guys!" Allard announced as he came crashing through the door, heading for the frig for another beer "We're going to take a drive down to Hillsboro and take in a Serguci League game at Beano Field. They always have double and sometimes triple headers on Sundays. You guys want to go?"
"I don't like baseball," Lisa replied.
"How could I forget?" Allard asked sarcastically. "What about you, Cola?"
"Maybe I'll stay here so Lisa won't be alone," Cola replied.
"Suit yourselves," Allard said with a shrug as he headed for the bedroom.
"I've been going to Beano Field since I was five," Franklin said with a nostalgic smile.
"It's a great place to watch a game," Sandra remarked as she followed Franklin down the hall.
A few minutes later, all three returned from their rooms. Allard grabbed a few more beers from the refrigerator before heading for the door.
"See you around," he said, barely giving Lisa a second look.
"Enjoy the game," Cola said, following them to the door.
"I have no idea when we'll be back," Franklin said as he headed out the door. "Allard will probably want to go out drinking after the game."
"We'll be here whenever you get back," Cola said.
Franklin took Sandra by the hand and left the cottage. Cola watched them pile into the car, Allard in the back seat with his beers and Franklin driving. Cola waved as the car disappeared out of the driveway.
"Thank God he's gone!"
Cola turned to see Lisa standing in the doorway of the kitchen. "It's only the second day but I'm sick of him already."
"I get the impression he's ignoring you," Cola observed.
"Yeah, we had a big fight on our way up here," Lisa admitted. "He's pissed off at me."
She turned and disappeared into the kitchen. Cola followed and saw that she had gone out the kitchen door and was standing in the yard looking out the lake.
"Fight about what?" Cola asked, joining her on the grass.
"Ah, the same old shit we're always fighting about," She groaned. "Him being uncouth, boorish, and juvenile and me being the uptight bitch!"
"I didn't know you were uptight," Cola joked.
She looked at him with a deadpanned look on her face. "Very funny."
"Look, Lisa, I—" He began.
"I know," She cut him off.
Now he was confused. "What?"
He frowned. "Huh?"
She gazed at him. "Don't you think I know?"
He exhaled slowly then dragged his hands through his hair in nervous awkwardness. "Lisa, it's just that—"
"You don't like baseball?" She asked.
"Maybe not today," he admitted.
They were bare inches apart, neither of them acknowledging how close they were until he grabbed her and kissed her hard. She willingly opened her mouth and accepted him.
"Damn, that feels good," she said between their kisses.
His tongue mated with Lisa's and electricity zinged between them until Lisa sprang back and stared at him with a funny expression on her face. "What are we doing?" she asked.
"I don't know," he admitted.
"Or you don't want to know?"
She took him by the hand and led him down to the beach where they took seats side by side on the dock and dipped their bare feet into the lake.
"How long have we known each other?" Lisa wanted to know.
"Well, technically Freshman year," Cola answered. "But we didn't become friends until you started dating Allard."
"You were already with Christie by then."
"Yeah, she was the only girl I ever dated," Cola replied.
"Maybe I would have been with you otherwise," Lisa said.
"What do you mean?" Cola asked with surprise.
"I always liked you, Cola," Lisa revealed.
"The more I was with Allard the more I realized how lucky Christie was," she said. "But you were crazy about Christie and that was that."
"I didn't know."
"No it's not."
She turned her deep eyes on him. "Isn't it?"
"No…it's just…" he looked at her and sighed. "Geez, why do you have to look so good?"
She smiled. "I can't help myself." She snorted and then laughed.
He grinned in reply.
"We've been friends for a long time, Cola," she told him. "We've spent a lot of time together over the years."
"As friends," he pointed out. "Other people's boyfriend and girlfriend."
She leaned her head against his shoulder, her expression serious. "I'm sorry about Christie."
"I don't suppose I should complain," Cola realized. "She made me a more cultured, studied and refined person."
"Maybe Allard should have dated her!"
"I don't think that would have changed him much," Cola admitted and they both laughed.
"I enjoy talking to you a lot more than I do Allard," Lisa said. "At least you have something to say."
"Yeah, but Allard always had the looks," Cola said.
"Looks aren't everything," Lisa said. "Falling for a dumb jock might work in high school but it gets old quickly, I can tell you that much." She looked at him and smirked. "Besides, you're not all that bad looking!"
"I wonder what the new guy looks like."
"Who cares?" She looked at him, her eyebrows raised in surprise. "You've got to let it go, Cola."
"I know," he sighed. "But it still hurts."
Lisa continued to look at him while placing her hand softly on his shoulder. "You'll find someone new. Trust me."
They were quiet for a while but not uncomfortably so. The surroundings were beautiful and the lake in front of them picturesque. An occasional sailboat drifted by and they watched with mellowed appreciation.
Lisa could feel Cola sitting close next to her, so much that she could feel his body heat. They exchanged looks before staring unblinkingly at each other.
"This probably isn't right," he whispered.
"I know." She could feel excitement racing through her veins. "But I don't care."
"Are you sure?"
She smiled at him. "About what?"
"You're the one who didn't go to the baseball game," she reminded him.
"Lisa." He leaned closer. "Can I kiss you some more?"
"Please." The whisper was so soft that he almost didn't hear it.
He lifted the back of his hand and softly rubbed it against her cheek before leaning his head until he touched his lips to hers before settled his hands on her hips. She placed both her hands on his shoulders and pulled her body against his. Their tongues met and danced together as his blood began to boil and he felt himself go tight between his legs. Her lips were soft and sweet.
Running his hands up and down her sides, Cola broke their kiss and began to lick and kiss her neck. Her breath was coming in little short gasps and he watched her breasts rising and falling beneath her long tee shirt. He raised his hands up until he found her right tit and he began to fondle it through her shirt, enjoying the fullness that was her. He kissed his way from her neck down to the rounds of her breasts.
"Somebody might see us," she warned, glancing around.
"Come on," he said, taking her by the hand.
They stood and trotted with wet feet to the house, hurrying down the hall to Cola's small room. Once inside, he grabbed the bottom of her shirt and lifted it up over her head, watching as her unbra'ed breasts became exposed to him.
"Oh, Lisa," he sighed.
Her nipples were erect and he played with them, causing her to moan. She leaned back and her breasts stood at attention as he took hold of them with his mouth, licking and sucking with reckless abandon.
Lisa moaned. "Cola," she whispered. "It feels so good."
"What about Allard?" Cola asked with worry and shame.
"He'd rather watch baseball," she answered freely.
He lifted his head from her breasts and kissed her on the mouth with desperate passion while letting him rub his erection along the front of her panties.
"I want you," he confessed.
"I always wanted you," she moaned in reply.
He grinded against her one more time and then leaned his forehead against hers. "Lisa," he said softly, cupping one of her bare breasts with his hand.
"I'm having pangs of shame, guilt, and regret," he confessed.
"You think too much," she told him.
"What's going to happen?" He worried. "What will be the repercussions?"
"I don't care," she replied.
"Are you sure?"
She scrunched up her nose. "I can't remember the last time I did it with Allard when he was sober," she revealed.
"Oh," was all Cola could think to say.
She grabbed the bottom of his shirt and yanked it off, looking at his chest with appreciative eyes.
"Lisa, you can stop drooling," Cola teased, his tone amused.
Flustered, she punched his stomach lightly. "I was not drooling."
"I'm glad you were." His voice was near her ear now.
She felt him brush his hands through his hair and she heard him blow out his breath. She remained quiet as they stared at one another, both topless. He reached a hand down and touched her cheek softly. His smiled seductively and she blushed.
"So, maybe we should just play this out and see where it takes us?" He asked
"Okay," she agreed.
He grinned mischievously before he bent his head and kissed her long and hard, their tongues tangling together. He pressed her body against his and she could feel him poking her stomach. When the kiss ended, they were breathless, their lips tingly.
Smiling shyly, Lisa rubbed his arm. "I'm going to help you," she said.
"Forget about Christie," she replied knowingly as she unbuckled his belt and unfastened his shorts.
They both glanced down and watched as his shorts fell to the floor. Lisa giggled as she inserted her hand inside his underwear and felt his stiffness. She gazed at him silently for a long moment and then he placed his hands on her shoulders.
"You're sure we should do this?" He whispered.
"Are you?" She wanted to know.
"As you can feel, I am stiff with desire," he joked, his eyes glinting, his smile sexy.
"So, what are you going to do about it?" Lisa asked.
He reached his hands down and pulled her panties down her legs and threw them across the room. She stood naked before him with a sly smile on her face.
"My God, Lisa."
"I shaved for the bikini," she explained, her eyes sparkling with excitement and anticipation.
"You are beautiful," he whispered.
His friend's girlfriend was naked before him and all he could think about was the glorious moment when he'd have her. Lisa pushing his underwear down and his penis sprung free. He grinned watching as she gave him a very appreciative look down there but neither moved until he reached forward, took her waist and pulled her to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pushed close, the touch of their skin sending electric shocks through their bodies. The feel of her drove Cola wild as he ran his hands up and down her body.
"You feel so good," he whispered.
"I'm glad," she giggled breathlessly.
Cola squeezed her ass cheeks and she took his penis in her hands, rubbing it up and down. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth.
"Lisa," he whispered, attacking her mouth with his.
She met his kisses with welcomed contentment and with the same wanting he was displaying with the kiss. He then nibbled her ear and her neck and shoulders while his fingers of his other hand exploded her hard nipples.
"Cola…" She moaned, her eyes closed.
"Yes?" His voice was high.
"I want…I need…"
He dipped his head and captured a breast with his mouth. She moaned softly, arcing her back while spreading her legs slightly while Cola ran his fingers down her belly to her womanhood where he touched her right at the magic spot before he slipped a finger inside her.
"You're…so wet." He sounded surprised.
"Because I want you," she whispered.
He continued to work his mouth around her breast as he inserted a second finger in as he positioned his thumb on her nub. She began to moan louder and he lifted his lips from her breasts to find her lips of her mouth again as he worked his fingers in and out of her. When he thought she was near, he sped up his strokes while watching with fascination as she shuttered from her orgasm. He felt her press around his fingers and he listened with satisfaction as she moaned into his mouth.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhh," she breathed.
Cola kissed her again before dropping to his knees, putting his hands on either side of her legs and replacing his fingers with his tongue. He felt her legs buckle but he held her up with his hands and continued to please her as she cried out in ecstasy as he worked his magic.
She was close again and he could feel the pull of her insides as she climaxed for the second time. Lisa almost collapsed on top of him, her stomach lying on top of his head as she slumped over. Cola rose from his knees, lifted her off her feet, and placed her on the bed. She willingly spread her legs and he happily entered her.
Cola was fucking his friend's girlfriend but he heard her cry out with pleasure so he knew it was okay.
"Yessss!" She wailed.
He continued to move within her with steady strokes while kissing her all over her face.
"Cola," she moaned happily.
He stared at her. Her eyes were closed but her mouth was wide open in a silent expression of amazement. He groaned while repeating her name as his own release exploded out of him and into her. They both screamed with delight and he kept rocking until he was spent and he fell on top of her with exhausted satisfaction.
She rolled him off of her and then rolled herself on top of him, resting her chin on his chest and staring at him.
"Wow," she concluded.
"Yeah," he agreed, patting her on the ass. "Wow."
"Maybe we should leave," she suggested.
"Before they come back."
"Where would we go?"
"Home," she said.
"I have the keys to Allard's car."
"Do you really want to face those guys knowing what we just did?"
"You want to bail out on them?"
"Maybe we should."
"Allard will know something happened," he worried.
"Something did happen!" She exclaimed.
"I don't want him to know that!"
"Can you spend the rest of the week pretending nothing happened?"
"I'm going to want to fuck you every time I see you," she admitted.
"We can wait," he said. "Let's just get through the week."
"You can end it with him back in Wethersfield," he said. "And then we can be together, legitimately."
She chewed on her lip. "Maybe we can sneak out and do it in the barn when he's passed out?"
"That would be great."
"And in the boathouse?"
"That would be extreme."
"Maybe we could paddle out to the island in the canoe?" She said, raising her eyebrows.
"And do it in the sand," he agreed.
She laughed and moved herself up, kissing him on the chin while rubbing herself along his stomach.
"Ready for the second inning?" She wanted to know.
"You sure did help me forget about Christie," Cola realized as she sat up and mounted him.
It was nearly midnight when the others returned to the cottage, totally shit faced.
Lisa was innocently reading her book on the couch although she was sore and exhausted from hours of sex with Cola who had slipped out the kitchen door when they heard the car pull into the driveway.
"Hey," Allard grumbled before he belched his way to the bedroom and passed out on the bed.
Cola returned to the cottage and said hi to Franklin and Sandra who were getting some water from the refrigerator.
"We've been drinking all night," Franklin admitted sheepishly.
"What did you guys do all day?" Sandra drunkenly wondered as she glanced back and forth between Lisa and Cola.
"Not much," Cola lied.
"Yeah, it was a pretty boring day," Lisa offered from the couch. "We probably should have gone with you guys."
Cola exchanged a knowing look with Lisa while grinning to himself.
"Well, I'm beat," Cola announced to his friends. "I think I'll turn in."
"Did you get a sunburn today?" Sandra wondered.
"Huh?" Cola asked.
"You look kind of flush," Sandra observed.
"Oh, yeah, we were out on the dock most of the day," Cola lied again.
Franklin laughed but he didn't say anything as he headed for the master bedroom.
"What?" Cola called after him.
"Oh nothing," Franklin said innocently as he glanced back at his friend as he stood in the bedroom doorway. "It's just that suddenly you don't look quite so depressed anymore."
"Well, it's the lake…..you know?" Cola asked hopefully.
"Yeah, the lake," Franklin said, nodding with understanding. "I'm guessing it's where Christie just drowned."
Cola turned red faced but he didn't say anything in response as Franklin disappeared into the room.
"Huh?" Sandra asked with confusion. "What's going on?"
"Nothing," Lisa insisted. "Private joke between those two."
Sandra looked back and forth between Cola and Lisa, both of whom were grinning mostly because they just couldn't help themselves.
"Oh…my…God," Sandra finally realized.
"Okay, but you can't say anything," Lisa blurted out. "Allard must never know."
"I'm starting to wonder if he would eve care," Sandra admitted.
"You're telling me," Lisa grumbled.
"Okay, my lips are sealed," Sandra remarked, making the gesture of closing a zipper across her lips. "But…..just between the three of us…?"
"What?" Cola wondered.
"I'm so fucking happy for the two of you!" Sandra laughed, running and giving Lisa a hug where she sat on the couch. "This is fan-fucking-tastic!"
"It is?" Lisa laughed.
"Oh come on, it's so over between you and Allard!" Sandra exclaimed. "And everybody knows you two deserve each other. You belong together."
"We do?" Cola asked.
"I've known it since high school!" Sandra laughed.
"Mums the word for the rest of the week," Lisa reminded her friend.
"Yes, of course, we'll keep your secret," Sandra giggled. "We'll help you out however we can. We'll keep Allard drunk all week and you guys can have your own little romance, okay?"
Lisa beamed and Cola laughed.
"This is the best thing that's ever happened!" Sandra laughed happily, giving Cola a kiss on the cheek before heading for the bedroom to join Franklin.
Lisa and Cola exchanged giddy looks.
"Who would have thought?" Cola wondered.
"Certainly not Christie and Allard!" Lisa concluded.
