When you engage in watching clouds

The world below fades into summer air

Something had to happen there

And we shared our stories aloud

We glowed in the light of the afternoon sun

With childhood joy and discovery

This we saw as a recovery

From things we'd said, and things we'd done

Our friendship grew up from the grass

And fell from the sky, into our eyes

It entered our hearts, a pleasant surprise

In this lovely time we passed

We sang our songs to mark the day

Our bond formed the first time

The six of us a perfect rhyme

Friends forever, at least to this day
