What Can Happen if You Accidentally Leave The Computer Cam On

(PG-13)

Doreen heard her computer bell ring, letting her know that Kasey was calling.

She turned on the computer camera and watched Kasey come into focus on the other end.

"Hey!" Doreen said into the camera. "Can't chat long. Fran's gonna be here in a few minutes."

"Oh, okay," Kasey replied. "I think I'm meeting up with Jim later."

"Great!" Doreen said with excitement. "You two seem to be hitting it off."

"Well, it's only been a few days," Kasey replied, not sounding all that excited.

"Com on, K!" Doreen groaned. "It's a date with a guy. Cheer up!"

"I don't think he's the guy for me," Kasey sighed.

"You don't think any guy is the right one for you," Doreen complained.

"So what are you and Fran doing?" Kasey asked, hoping to change the subject.

"Going out to dinner," Doreen bragged while pulling on her shoes and clipping on her jewelry. "How does my hair look?"

"Fantastic!" Kasey laughed giving her the thumbs up sign.

Doreen patted her hair and then glanced at the camera. "Don't you think it's time you got ready?"

Kasey was wearing a pair of faded and tattered sweat pants and her brother's old Hillsboro Hurricanes t-shirt.

"I've got plenty of time," Kasey said.

"You don't want to go out with him do you?" Doreen sighed.

Kasey shrugged.

Doreen checked to make sure her necklace, bracelet and earrings were straight and then she gave her hair a few more brushes.

"What's A.J. doing tonight?" Kasey wondered.

"Who cares about him?" Doreen asked with a frown. "God, I swear sometimes you like my brother more than any real guy out there."

"No I don't!" Kasey said quickly.

"Oh!" Doreen said, glancing away from the camera.

"What?" Kasey asked.

"I think Fran's here! Wow, he's really early! Gotta go!

Kasey's cell phone went off almost at the same moment. "Oh okay, bye," she said, distracted by the phone call.

Doreen was in such a rush that she forgot to turn off the computer cam and because Kasey had been distracted by her phone she neglected to secure her computer too. Her camera was on auto focus and it automatically panned so it followed her around the room as she talked on the phone.

"Hey, Doreen!" It was Doreen's annoyed brother A.J. stepping into the room. "Did you take my IPOD again?"

He stopped when he realized that his sister was already gone, cursing her rudeness in repeatedly swiping his stuff. He was about to exit the room when his eye caught the computer screen on the desk. He stepped closer to try to make out what was going on.

Oh, it was Kasey. He was about to say something to her but he stopped and watched as she stood at her bureau putting on some make up. Her back was to the camera and he wasn't sure if she was aware he could see her.

He had known Kasey forever, of course, his sister's best friend for the longest time. She wasn't exactly beautiful in the true sense of the word but she was definitely cute and maybe even sexy, especially in those baggy brown sweats she was wearing that were hanging loosely on her hips.

A.J. had always liked Kasey even though both were in denial about it. They hung out as a trio with Doreen a lot and they got along well. A.J. might have even asked her out if she wasn't his sister's best friend but there was something a little creepy about dating your sister's best friend, right?

A.J. heard Kasey talking and realized that she had her cell on speaker phone.

"…my mother isn't exactly thrilled that I might have another boyfriend," she was saying. "Because she's always afraid it's going to lead to sex!" Kasey laughed. "She thinks I'll go out and get drunk, and all that, you know? Me? Yeah, right. Shut up! I do not! That's disgusting!"

Kasey laughed again. "Why? Do you? What? In your mouth? Holy…..geez, Mary Ellen."

A.J. realized that Kasey was talking to Mary Ellen Nathan, one of the biggest sluts in the school.

"Ha, ha, that's pretty funny," Kasey said, grabbing the phone from the dresser top, walking across the room, and dropping onto her stomach on the bed. "I didn't know he was like that! No way! I mean, that's – you know."

A.J. turned off the lights in Doreen's room, closed the door and quietly moved closer to the computer. Kasey had no idea the camera was still on, obviously, and now if she happened to glance at her screen all she would see was darkness.

A.J. took a seat in Doreen's computer chair and watched in disbelief as Kasey picked her nose with one of her fingers and then looked at her snot on her finger as she continued chatting with Mary Ellen.

"He said that?" Kasey asked with surprise as she rolled her snot into a ball on her finger and A.J. had to stop himself from gagging.

Kasey flicked the snot ball off her finger and gave her nose another sweep, digging for snot-cicles buried in her nostril as she gabbed with Mary Ellen.

Maybe spying on Kasey wasn't such a good idea.

"Oh, she's just a gossip hound," Kasey was saying. "What about Doreen? No, I don't think so. He's okay. Oh, who do you mean? Yeah, that's her brother."

A.J. leaned into the camera when he heard his name being discussed. He never really thought about how Kasey might see him.

"Sure, but he doesn't think of me in that way," Kasey was saying. "Sure. Well, what difference does it make anyway? It's not as if he's interested in me."

A.J was glad she hadn't bad mouthed him.

"Hey, I should get going…..yeah, you too,...okay…..ha ha…..I'm not like that, Mary Ellen! Bye!"

Kasey closed the cell and sprang from the bed, returning to the bureau. Her back was to the computer cam as she pulled the tee shirt she was wearing off over her head and A.J. saw that she wasn't wearing a bra. He gulped when he realized he could see most of her exposed breasts through the mirror she was standing in front of as she held her arms up brushing her hair back into a ponytail.

A.J. wasn't expecting her to tug on her sweats and panties and they both effortlessly fell off her hips and slid to the floor, revealing her amazing tush underneath. She stepped out of the sweats and AJ stared with his jaw dropped open at her lovely rear end. He had to admit it looked flawless.

He was surprised when Kasey let go a loud fart.

"Opps, excuse me," Kasey laughed, apparently talking to her teddy bear that was sitting on top of the dresser in front of her. "Must be those tacos from last night. I'd better let it all out before Jim gets here, right?" She let out another one and then followed it with an "ahhh…"

A.J. had to admit that he didn't even know that girls farted like that.

"Man, what a stink, huh, Teddy?" Kasey laughed at the stuffed bear.

In five minutes, A.J. knew more about Kasey Wells then he possibly could have imagined (and probably wanted to know). And then she turned and he sat in the computer chair gawking at her neatly trimmed blonde bush and her full boobs.

"Mama-Mia," he muttered, feeling his heart skip.

"Yeah, I'm a little nervous, Ted," " Kasey was saying.

She had a bottle of red nail polish in her hand and she stepped closer to the computer, putting her foot up on the corner of the chair to paint her toenails and giving A.J. a bird's eye view of her womanhood.

"I'm not exactly sold on Jim, to be perfectly honest," she was telling Teddy as she did her toenails but A.J. couldn't take his eyes off from between her legs. "I didn't think that I'm exactly his type."

A.J. wasn't sure what she meant.

"He's been with so many girls," Kasey sighed. "Mary Ellen was just telling me a few things I didn't know about and I'm not sure I like. You know, I'm just not that sort of girl."

She heaved a sigh, pushing her hair out of her face. "I'd really just like to meet a nice guy," she said. "Mary Ellen just asked about A.J. of all guys." She laughed. "He's always around, you know, being Doreen's brother and everything. But let's face it, he thinks of me as a sister, right? . Yeah, yeah, I know," she laughed again. "That's so cliché, right? Best friend's brother and all that. But sometimes getting to know someone first in a non-romantic way is the way to do it, don't you think?"

A.J. suddenly felt guilty for listening in and watching a naked Kasey. If he was such a nice guy, what the hell was he doing being a peeping tom voyeur perv?

"Geez, I've known A.J. since like the first grade, right?" Kasey laughed.

She was blowing on her toenails now.

"I guess I could see it," she said. "Trouble is, how would I go about it?" She sighed. "Especially if he isn't interested? That would be really humiliating. Oh well. Doesn't matter tonight. I've Jim to worry about."

She put her foot down, turned and walked to her dresser. A.J. kept staring at her buns. She absentmindedly scratched one of her fanny cheeks as she humming to herself and then she reached down and picked her panties up from the floor. She held them to her nose and gave them a sniff.

"No stains," she said, glancing at them. "Good enough."

She pulled the panties on over her legs and then she disappeared into the closet and A.J. wondered what he should do. Keep on spying? Turn off the camera? Call out her name?

A.J. heard the cell phone going off and a moment later Kasey pranced from the closet dressed in an attractive red dress that fit her body nicely.

"Hello?" Kasey asked, picking up the phone. "Oh, Hi Jim. I was just getting ready. Oh? I see."

A.J. saw her smile disappear and her face dissolve into disappointment.

"No, that's okay. I understand…okay….yeah….maybe….." her voice trailed off. "Yeah, see you."

She closed the phone and threw it angrily onto the bed. "Sick mother my ass," she grumbled. "Rat bastard. Doesn't even have the balls to dump me up front."

She grabbed her teddy bear and fell onto the bed, burying her head into the bear's stomach.

"Oh, why am I such a pathetic loser?" she sobbed.

A.J. felt terrible. A nice girl like Kasey deserved better than a dickhead like Jimmy jerking her chain.

He sprang from the chair, turned the lights back on in the room, opened the door and stood in the doorway, pretending he was just entering. .

"Doreen!" A.J. yelled loudly. "Where's my IPOD, damn it!?"

"Oh!" He heard Kasey say as she lifted her head up from the bed and stared at the computer. "Has that been on all this time?"

"Kasey?" A.J. asked, glancing at the computer camera. "Is that you?"

"Oh, hi, A.J," she giggled, blushingly slightly as she quickly and discreetly wiped a tear away. "I guess Doreen and I accidentally left our computer cams on. Wow…." She said, chewing on her lip. "You just came in, right?"

"You look nice," A.J. replied, not wanting to answer her question with a blatant lie. "You going out?"

"I had a date with Jim McHugh," she replied with a smile.

"Oh, him," A.J. said with disapproval.

"What do you mean?" Kasey frowned.

"Oh, nothing," A.J. said with a shrug. "I just heard stuff about him."

"Yeah, me too," she said with a sigh.

"What kind of stuff?" A.J. asked, stepping closer to the computer screen.

"Oh….nothing," Kasey said, slipping into her chair. "Doesn't matter anyway. He just cancelled."

"Oh?" A.J. asked innocently. "How come?"

"Something came up," Kasey said dismissively. "How come you're home on a Saturday night?" She asked to change the subject.

"Oh, just hanging out," A.J. replied, seeing Kasey in a whole new light now.

She had always been his sister's friend but now she was a sexy and interesting woman, even if she did pick her nose and fart up a storm!

"It's Saturday night!" She reminded him.

"I know. There really wasn't anything to do though."

"No date?"

"Nope."

"I find that hard to believe," Kasey said with a smile.

"You do?" A.J asked with interest. "Really?"

"Sure," she said with a smile. Then she stared into the camera. "Why?"

"Oh, I don't know," A.J. replied.

"What happened to Rita Franklin?"

"She wanted to see other guys," A.J. sighed, the pain still fresh.

"I'm sorry."

"What happened to Dylan what's-his-name?"

"It wasn't going to work out," Kasey answered.

"How come?" he asked.

"I really don't want to talk about it, A.J.," Kasey sighed.

"Oh, okay," he said.

"Boy, it's a good thing you didn't come into Doreen's room five minutes earlier," Kasey laughed.

"Oh?" He played dumb. 'How come?"

"Because I was prancing around here as naked a jaybird!" She laughed.

"Oh really?" A.J. asked with eyebrows. "Sorry I missed that!"

She blushed. "Maybe I shouldn't have told you," she realized.

"It's okay."

"What would you have done if you had seen?" She wondered.

"I don't know," he mumbled.

"Have you ever done something like that before?"

"No," he said truthfully.

"Oh."

He wondered if he should tell her the truth. Did he owe her that much? But if told her he actually did see her naked, she'd probably be offended and feel violated and never talk to him again. He couldn't risk it.

"Why, have you?" He asked.

She rolled her eyes. "No, of course not. But I was talking with Mary Ellen Nathan earlier and she said….."

"Mary Ellen is kind of a tramp, isn't she?" A.J. asked.

"She's kind of experienced," Kasey agreed. "Anyways, sometimes I feel like I'm totally out of the big leagues when it comes to some of this stuff."

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, nothing," she sighed.

A.J. chewed on his lip for a moment. "You can tell me if you want, Kasey."

"What do you mean?"

He shrugged. "I don't know, I guess."

She peered at him for a long moment. "Have you ever had… sex?" She whispered.

"Depends on what you mean by that word," He replied.

"Never mind," she said quietly.

"Have you?" he dared.

"What!?"

"Had sex?" He asked nervously.

She stared at him with surprise "That's not the kind of question you're supposed to ask a girl, A.J.!"

"I'm sorry," he said. "But you asked first."

"Is this what they mean by computer sex?" She laughed.

"Maybe," he agreed.

"You know, if you had seen me naked on the computer cam a few minutes ago you would have been the first guy who ever saw me naked," she revealed.

"Oh," he replied. He waited a beat. "What would you have done if I had….seen you?"

"Died of humiliated embarrassment, of course," she laughed.

"I don't think you have anything to be embarrassed about," A.J. told her.

"How would you know?" She frowned.

"Just guessing," he answered quickly.

"What are you doing in Doreen's room anyway?" She wondered.

"Looking for my IPOD," he answered truthfully.

"I can't believe she didn't turn her camera off."

"Well, you didn't turn yours off either," A.J. pointed out.

"I guess I was pretty lucky nothing happened!" She laughed.

"What if it was the other way around?" A.J. asked.

"What do you mean?"

"What if I had come in here naked looking for my IPOD?"

"Oh God!" She buried her face in her hands. "I would have died!"

He laughed. "So, you've never seen a guy naked before?"

"Shut up about that," she ordered. "You jerk."

"Sorry," he muttered.

"That's what I meant," she sighed, crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm sure Jim McHugh had every intention of trying to see me naked tonight."

"Oh, does he have a computer cam too?" A.J. joked.

"Shut up!" She threatened. "I would never do something like that."

Now A.J. felt double-guilty.

"We've been friends for a long time, Kasey."

"Yeah, so?"

"Did you ever think that we could be something…"

She blushed. "Else?" She asked with surprise.

"Or more," he agreed.

"Why do you ask?" She asked suspiciously.

"You're beautiful," he told her. "That dress looks really great on you."

She smiled. "Thanks."

"And here we both are…..sitting alone at home on a Saturday night."

"I'm afraid," she admitted.

"About what?"

"Everything," she sighed. "Playing the game. Getting to know the guy. Having to take the next step. The whole stupid dating thing."

"It's hard for everybody, Kasey," A.J. said. "I didn't realize you were so shy."

"Just insecure," she sighed.

"I wish you were here in this room with me right now," he whispered.

"Why?" She asked with surprise.

"I've always liked you."

"You have?" She asked.

"Yeah," he smiled.

"Well, I always liked you too, A.J," she confessed.

"I'm glad."

"A lot," she clarified.

"That's good!" he laughed.

She chewed on her bottom lip. "Why didn't you ever say something?"

"You're my sister's best friend," he sighed. "I didn't want to mess stuff up."

"Me either," she admitted.

"Would you like to go out sometime?" He asked.

She smiled. 'Okay."

"Great!" He beamed.

"Yeah, great!" She laughed.

There was a long pause.

"Well, I guess I should get out of Doreen's room," A.J. finally said. "She doesn't like me being in here."

"Oh, okay," Kasey said, sounding disappointed.

"We'll talk again soon, okay?"

"Yeah, sure," Kasey agreed. "Goodnight, A.J."

"Good night, Kasey."

She watched as he leaned over and the screen went dark. She was about to turn off her computer cam too when she glanced down at the cam icon and clicked on it. The screen went wide with the history of the last transaction. She clicked replay and watched as Doreen came into focus on the other end. She hit split screen so both ends of the camera cam could be seen on her screen.

"Hey!" Doreen said into the camera. "Can't chat long. Fran's gonna be here in a few minutes."

"Oh, okay," Kasey replied. "I think I'm meeting up with Jim later."

"Great!" Doreen said. "You two seem to be hitting it off."

"Well, it's only been a few days," Kasey replied.

"Com on, K!" Doreen groaned. "It's a date with a guy. Cheer up!"

"I don't think he's the guy for me," Kasey sighed.

"You don't think any guy is the right one for you," Doreen complained.

"So what are you and Fran doing?" Kasey asked.

"I've got plenty of time," Kasey said.

"You don't want to go out with him do you?" Doreen sighed.

"Nope!" The real time Kasey laughed at the computer.

Doreen checked to make sure her necklace, bracelet and earrings were straight and then she gave her hair a few more brushes.

"What's A.J. doing tonight?" Kasey wondered.

The real time Kasey was surprised she had been so brazen with her question.

"Who cares about him?" Doreen asked with a frown. "God, I swear sometimes you like my brother more than any real guy out there."

The real time Kasey realized it was true.

"Oh!" Doreen said, glancing away from the camera.

"What?" Kasey asked.

"I think Fran's here! Wow, he's really early! Gotta go!

The real time Kasey heard her cell phone go off and she watched as her recorded image went for it on the computer screen, failing to turn off the cam.

Doreen's room was empty on her side of the screen but then the real time Kasey's jaw dropped open when the camera cam swung to the door and A.J. was seen in the doorway.

"Hey, Doreen! Did you take my IPOD again?"

"You son of a bitch!" The real time Kasey screamed, her eyes wide.

She watched as A.J. moved closer to the computer screen listening in on her conversation.

"…my mother isn't exactly thrilled that I might have another boyfriend," she was saying. "Because she's always afraid it's going to lead to sex!" Kasey laughed. "She thinks I'll go out and get drunk, and all that, you know? Me? Yeah, right. Shut up! I do not! That's disgusting!"

Kasey laughed again. "Why? Do you? What? In your mouth? Holy…..geez, Mary Ellen."

The real time Kasey watched as A.J. stared into the camera listening to her conversation.

"I can't believe it," the real time Kasey cried.

"Ha, ha, that's pretty funny," the taped Kasey said, grabbing the phone from the dresser top, walking across the room, and dropping onto her stomach on the bed. "I didn't know he was like that! No way! I mean, that's – you know."

The real time Kasey watched as A.J. turned off the lights in Doreen's room and then closed the door so the room went totally black. But she knew he was still in the room watching her.

"He said that?" The taped Kasey asked as she picked at her nose.

"Oh, gross," the real time Kasey moaned. "I can't believe I did that!"

"Oh, she's just a gossip hound," the taped Kasey was saying. "What about Doreen? No, I don't think so. He's okay. Oh, who do you mean? Yeah, that's her brother. Sure, but he doesn't think of me in that way," Kasey was saying. "Sure. Well, what difference does it make anyway? It's not as if he's interested in me. Hey, I should get going…..yeah, you too,...okay…..ha ha…..I'm not like that, Mary Ellen! Bye!"

The real time Kasey watched as her taped self closed the cell and sprang from the bed, returning to the bureau. Her back was to the computer cam as she pulled the tee shirt she was wearing off over her head and the real time Kasey moaned when she saw most of her exposed breasts through the mirror she was standing in front of as she held her arms up brushing her hair back into a ponytail. And then she slipped out of her sweats and panties and the real time Kasey groaned some more as she stared at her naked ass realizing that A.J. had seen it too.

And then the taped Kasey let out a loud fart.

"Oh my God," the real time Kasey moaned.

"Opps, excuse me," the taped Kasey laughed. "Must be those tacos from last night. I'd better let it all out before Jim gets here, right?"

The real time Kasey buried her head in her hands as the taped Kasey let out another one and then followed it with an "ahhh…Man, what a stink, huh, Teddy?" the taped Kasey laughed.

And then the taped Kasey turned to reveal her trimmed blonde bush and her full boobs.

"Mama-Mia," the real time Kasey definitely heard A.J. mutter, confirming that he indeed had seen her naked.

"That son of a bitch!" a horrified real time Kasey screamed.

"Yeah, I'm a little nervous, Ted," the taped Kasey was saying.

She had a bottle of red nail polish in her hand and she stepped closer to the computer, putting her foot up on the corner of the chair to paint her toenails and giving A.J. a bird's eye view of her womanhood.

The real time Kasey stared at the image of herself in complete shock. A.J. might as well have been her gynecologist. She felt dizzy with that realization and she barely heard what her taped self was saying although she saw herself walking to her dresser and absentmindedly scratching her ass as she hummed to herself. Then she reached down and picked her panties up from the floor, holding them to her nose and giving them a sniff.

"No stains," she said, glancing at them. "Good enough."

"Just kill me now," the real life Kasey grumbled.

Then the phone rang and she watched as the asshole McHugh dumped her and then she fell onto the bed, burying her head into the bear's stomach.

"Oh, why am I such a pathetic loser?" she sobbed.

"Good question," the real time Kasey muttered with disgust.

Then she saw the other half of the dark computer screen come to light with A.J. standing at the light switch, opening the door and standing in the doorway, pretending he was just entering.

"Doreen!" A.J. yelled loudly. "Where's my IPOD, damn it!?"

"Oh!" The taped Kasey said as she lifted her head up from the bed and stared at the computer. "Has that been on all this time?"

"Kasey?" A.J. asked, glancing at the computer camera. "Is that you?"

"What a great actor you are, you bastard," the real time Kasey remarked, hitting delete on the computer screen so the pathetic images disappeared.

She paced back and forth across her room feeling a mixture of emotions – betrayal, disgust, embarrassment, humiliation, vulnerability, anger, resentment, and confusion.

"Why did A.J. even bother talking to her after witnessing the peep show? He could have just disappeared from the room and she never would have known anything, probably. But he had decided to engage her in a conversation – a very nice conversation as it turned out – and that's how he got caught.

She was so enraged by his voyeuristic intrusion that she rushed from her room still wearing her red dress, flew down the stairs, raced out the front door and jumped in her car. She sped the three blocks to A.J.'s house and skidded the car to a stop out front.

She flew out of the car and ran up the front walk and onto the porch. It wasn't until she rang the doorbell that she realized she needed to calm down and collect herself before the door opened so she wouldn't look like a lunatic.

Doreen's mother opened the door.

"Oh, Hello, Kasey," Mrs. Iverson said with surprise. "Doreen went out with Fran tonight."

"I know," Kasey replied. "I was hoping to chat with A.J. for a moment."

"Oh, sure, okay," Mrs. Iverson laughed. "Go on up, dear."

Kasey took the stairs three at a time and didn't even bother knocking on A.J.'s bedroom door as she burst threw it, closing it hard behind her.

"You lying gross degenerate!" She seethed.

A.J. was lying on his bed in gym shorts and a tee shirt watching his wide screen television. "Kasey?" He asked, his stomach doing flips because he knew he was busted.

"You did watch you disgusting pig!"

"I'm sorry," he sighed, totally defenseless in his response.

"Why would you do that?" She demanded angrily.

"How could I not?" He asked. "It was right there for me to see."

"You're a sick pervert."

"It's not my fault you two left the camera on," he said defensively.

She ran across the room and jumped on top of him, pining him down by sitting on his stomach. She slapped him hard across the face, and then again a couple of more times.

He didn't resist, knowing he deserved her wrath.

"I'll hate you forever," she said, spitting in his face.

"I know," he replied. "I'm sorry."

"You're sick. You're a disgusting. You're slime."

She slapped him one more time before hopping off the bed and starting for the door.

"You really are beautiful, Kasey," he said, wiping a trickle of blood from his lip.

"Shut up!" She screamed.

He raced across the room and grabbed her, throwing her against the closed door. He leaned in and kissed her and she tried to punch his chest and his face but he grabbed her by the arms and pinned her against the door, continuing to kiss her.

She fought for a few more minutes but then her resistance stopped and she began to kiss him back, even as her tears rolled down her cheeks.

"We will never talk about this again," she whispered.

"Okay," he agreed.

"I really do hate you," she whimpered, before kissing his bottom lip.

"I know," he said.

She kneed him in the groin. He gasped out loud, clutched himself and tumbled to the floor, moaning.

She kicked him her foot so he was lying on his back and she once again sat on his stomach.

"Why would you want to kiss a girl who picks her nose, scratches her ass, sniffs her own underwear, and farts?" She demanded angrily.

"Because she's real," he replied.

"I can't believe you saw me do all that stuff," she groaned with humiliation.

"I can't believe I saw you naked," he replied.

"God, I hate you," she groaned.

"Would you like to go get something to eat?" he asked.

She stared down at him for the longest time. "As long as it's not tacos," she finally answered.
