My dear Grandad,

Though we've never met,
I feel like we have connection,
Even if you're buried miles away.
We're different, yet our minds are alike,
It might seem like everyone had forgotten,
But I'm still here.
The outside world, they fail to understand,
Even father dearest will never comprehend,
My reasons to write for you today.
He tries but its difficult,
When my mindset is so alien compared to his.
I can feel your prescence,
The innocence though, is well gone.
Irreplacable, just like the place of a grandfather.
I can almost feel the pain,
I'm sure you always dealt with,
I can almost hear your prayers,
That I'm sure nobody answered,
I can be the Grandaughter,
That was almost like a twin.
