Quiet, pristine

The real world shut away

Knights, dragons, and angels

My everyday company

Books upon books

Papers filled with words

Endless ideas leaving my hand

The very thought giving me a surge

Pictures of my family

Stacked on the desk

My husband smiling, lovingly

My kids at school, taking tests

In my P.J.s from 6 till 4

Or dressed in a cream suit

Hair thrown up into a bun

Or an A-line cut to sheek to be cute

Happy in my own four walls

Or traveling round the world

My own boss, my own time

The only girl in my world

Staying up till dawn

Sleeping in all day

Only my time frame that matters

No listening to what others say

This is the picture I paint

The one I truly want

To be a creators of worlds

And never miss a thought
