A/N: Another update. Wow, I'm doing well.

I watched him as he stagged out of the door. Something was up.

I said my goodbyes to my other friends.

I walked quickly outside, hoping that he was there. He was. I walked over to where he was leant against the wall.

He was rambling, "I love her, but she only sees me as a player. Can't she see how much this is hurting me?"

"Mate?" I said cautiously, standing in front of him.

"Jack? Why are you out here?" He said before sliding down the wall, carelessly getting dirt on his Italian suit.

"What's wrong?" I asked, crouching in front of him now.

At my words his shoulders started to shake. It took me a few minutes to realise he was crying. When I did, I sat down and pulled him into my shoulder. His hair smelt wonderful, but that wasn't the point. The point was that, even though he showed an indifferent face, he was breakable, fragile even.

After a while his tears stopped and I had a wet shirt. I rubbed his back before straightening up.

We stood a few metres apart, looking at each other.

"Thanks Jack." He said before walking away.

I stood there in the darkness, wondering how such a fragile person could be so strong.
