I wish the rain
Would flow into me
Filling the empty spaces with sacred water
Rushing through my bones
Washing away my disquiet

When the clouds divide
I wish the sun
Would warm up what's left
Allowing my flesh to grow flowers, grass
Let me be something better, something useful

When winter comes
I wish the snow would fall
In soft snips of lace over me
Covering my body in white
Until no one remembers I'm there
