Endlessly, I watched my barren surroundings

Sight consisted on the horizon line dividing the landscape

The faded blue sky, atop

And the grainy alabaster ground

A land untouched by time

My only motion: walking

Nothing changing my pace

Nothing catching my interest

Purposeless… walking

Endless, endless…

Then a dull shine caught my sight

So dully lit, if I had not focused on it sooner it would have vanished

Walking to it in crawling pace unchanging

It's size not growing or shrinking as I walk to it

Keeping its size to the shape of my thumbnail

Stopping, it lay before my feet

I did nothing of movement

No breath

Not even a lift of my chest

Not a beat was heard

Just staring on that thing of my focus…

Doing so in a zombie-like prose… endlessly
