i pried you open,

like the walrus to the oyster,

and i sucked you clean

with the ache of my jaw.

you're killing me

with that smile

and those bright eyes;

oh god, your eyes.

i can't face myself,

and i can't face you.

not after everything

i've put you through.

A/N: The stanzas won't separate properly on here, hmph. Ah well, I suppose you get the idea? Again, I rarely use capitalization in my poetry, and I often add punctuation only when publishing, for the sake of those who are not in my brain and do not understand the flow without that particular aid. :) If you'd like, please leave me a review and let me know what you think! :)
