Okay another chapter. I hope you like it and I'd like to thank Randomgirl2012 for following my story. I really apreciate it. Alright so on with the chapter.
I woke up on the 31st of August in my room. Today is my sister's wedding. School starts in a week aand I was excited to see my friends again and to start my third year of high school. As I started thinking about all of this my sister came in. She and I had talked for a while but one thing I made sure to keep a secret is what happened betweenme and our parents a few weeks ago. The bruises on my face had gone away and I escaped a lot of questioning about it. I smiled as my sister got up and went to her room to start getting ready. It was 9 am and the ceremony was at noon. Unlike me my sister has people who are going to help her get ready.
My bridesmaids dress is purple and has an empre waist with a halter top and an open back. It stops to just below my knees. I'm the maid of honor so once I'm done getting ready I'm choosing to help my sister. As I zipped up my gown I heard a knock at my door. I told whoever it is to come in. Who it was shocked me. It was Adrian. Ever since he saved me he's been more curtious and actually knocks on my door.
"Hey Adrian." I stated smiling at him. I turned to my mirror and grabbed my curling iron. I picked up my hair to be half up and half down and my hair in curls. Once I was done with my hair I put on lip gloss then went to grab the heels I bought.
"Good morning Alice." He greeted as he sat down in the chair to my vanity.
"You look beautiful." He said looking away. I felt blood rush to my face at his statement.
"T-Thank you." I stated. He nodded in reponse. My shoes were black and open-toed. They had a black bow where the toes show. Once my shoes were succesfully on I turned to my nighstand which held two black boxes on top of it. I recieved them last night but I never looked in them and when I did I was shocked. Inside one was a necklace that had one diamond in the shape of an octagon and earings to match. In the other box was a beautiful pearl bracelet. I put on the keclace and the bracelet and was finally ready. I walked towards my door when Adrian stopped me.
"You still have yet to tell me what those bruises were about." He stated. My eyes widened. I thought he would've forgotton about it.
"I'm not going to tell you Adrian so let it go." I stated pulling my wrist away from him. I walked out and went to my sister's room who was currently doing her hair and makeup. The rest of the bridesmaids were there as well. I helped her into her dress once her hair and makeup was done. My sister's hair was in complete curls and she was draped in diamonds from head to toe. Her tiara went in front of her veil that went down the her mid-back. We hugged each other as we left outside. My sister's limo was waiting outside to take us to the church. Adrian and his parents were riding with us to the church.
Once we made it to the church everyone made their way out and so did I but I made it out with the help of someone elses hand. I looked to see that it was Adrian helping me. I smiled thankfully at him. We all walked into the church. We all assembled and walked down the aisle. Once my sister walked down the aisle people looked in awe and so did James. Layla made it down the aisle and got married. She recited her vows as did James and they said their I do's. They were now married and it was time for the reception. I had sat and watched as everyone made their toasts. Made a short toast and hugged my sister and my new brother-in-law.
The music started playing and it was soon time for the first dance. The song innocence by Avril Lavigne came on and Layla and James danced together. After a bit more people joined them including my parents. I sat and watched them happily. Suddenly a hand was extended to me. It was Adrian's.
"May I have this dance?" He asked I smiled and nodded then stood. He led me to the dancefloor and we danced together.
"You looked so disconnected from your family sitting down like that." He stated. I looked up at him.
"It's always been that way. I can't trust them so I keep my distace from them." I replied.
"So is that why you had those bruises?" He asked. I looked away from him and nodded. I looked up at him once the song ended. I moved away from him. I felt vulnerable telling him this and I hated it. I turned away from him and sat back down after grabbing something to drink. I gabbed my silver clutch purse after downing my drink and walked out of the ballroom. I went into the hall where Mina, Adam, my twin brothers, and few of my other friends. I walked up to them and greeted them. Adam grinned happily at me while my brothers were laughing at some lame joke. They were all absorbed in a conversation when Adam moved closer to me and leaned closer to my height.
"Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded not wanting to peak much on the topic.
"You don't seem that way. I know you better than that so why don't we go for a walk and talk about whatevers bothering you." He offered. I pondered on it and he took my hesitance as a yes. He grabbed my wrist and started walking towards the exit. We made it outside where there was the calming sound of a fountain gushing water. We sat at the edge of the fountain and spoke for a bit. He looked intensly which made our conversation awkward.
"So Alice, what do you think about me being back?" He asked randomly. I shrugged.
"You're my friend so having you back is good." I stated.
"Well I'm glad I get to see you again." He stated leaning closer towards me. I moved back slightly and cleared my throat. The way he wad acting was really odd and unlike him. He used to be one of my closest friends but now he's just acting strange. His hand came up to my chin when I was looking away and made me look at him. His green orbs stared intensly at mine but it was holding another meaning to it. He leaned forward to close the small space between us but I pulled away.
"Adam you're great and all but I've knwon you since I was an infant and I don't like you that way." I stated. He looked disappointed but he moved away releasing my chin. I stood up awkwardly grabbing my clutch.
"I'll see you back inside." I stated before I walked back into the reception. I went back to the ball room to meet my angry mother.
"Where the hell have you been Alice?" She stated getting closer to me.
"Taking a walk." I replied. She sighed before speaking.
"You're such an embaressment to us. Speak to some of the guests but before that there's someone your father and I would like you to meet. She stated grabbing my wrist and whisking me away to someone. The person that stood in front of me had dark brown hair and light brown eyes. He was pale like Adrian and looked to be around my age.
"Alice this is Malikye." She introduced him. I smiled and greeted him. I knew meeting him meant that my parents had found him to be a possible husband for me. My mother had left and we had a bit of small talk. He and I had a lot in common. He knew about my family being part of the mafia and his family, the Kingston, family was also a mafia. We spoke for a bit before people started taking there leave. I had stood up and so did Malikye. I said my goodbyes to him then walked over to the table I was formerly sitting at. It was a bit breezy today so I brought a jacket with me. I grabbed my clutch purse and my jacket and started walking out. The limo to take us home was already outside and so I walked to it and got inside. When I got inside I saw Adrian sitting in there already. I sat down and got properly settled.
"I saw you and him near the fountain." He stated sounding angry.
"I'm surprised you didn't kiss him normally if a girl had guy lean in to kiss her like that she would kiss him." He stated similar to what I said in the cafe a few weeks ago.
"Like I told you before I'm not normal and he a close friend besides I don't like Adam in that way." I replied. He looked at me once I finished saying that.
"Along with that I don't want my first kiss to be with one of my best friends not that i's any of your buisness." I added. His statement before was him being stereotypical again and I hated when he acted that way.
"I didn't know." He stated referring to the fact I didn't have my first kiss yet.
"Just forget it and what were you doing spying on me?" I asked.
"I wasn't spying on you I was looking to for you to see if you were alright when I found you near the fountain with him." He answered,
"Why did you care if I was alright?" I asked curiously.
"You seemed upset when you left. I wanted to make sure I wasn't the cause of it." He explained.
"Do you do that for all your friends?" I asked.
"We're not friends and you don't mean anything to me nor do I really care about you I was just trying to be polite." He stated and if felt like something punctured my heart. I thought we were actually friends but I was wrong and being wrong about that hurt badly. I looked out the window sadly. My parents, my sister, my brothers, and my brother-in law, along with Adrian's parents each came into the limo. During the ride home I was silent. I didn't want to speak because I was afraid if I did I would let how hurt I felt slip out. We stopped in front of James' house where Layla now officially lives. She had moved all of her stuff out yesterday. As She and James left the limo I got out along with the rest of my family to properly ay goodbye.
Layla and James both hugged us all then went inside with James carrying Layla over the threshold. I got back inside the limo still feeling hurt at Adrian's statement. It confused me as to why his statement hurt so much but it did. Once were finished dropping off Adrian and his parents I said bye to his parents then went back in the limo. It was obvious he was pushing me away and I didn't want to be nuiscance so I didn't speak to him. Once I got home I hurried to my room. I showered and tied my hair up. I got dressed and lied down on my bed. I sighed sadly as I turned over clutching my blanket to my chest. I truly meant nothing to him and hearing that hurt like hell.
When I told her that she meant nothing to me I wanted to immediately take it back. She looked hurt by what I said what I said I didn't mean any of it. For the first time I was actually worried about someone other than my little sister, Sophia. I hated the way she looked and how I hurt her but I needed to push her away or else I could get too attached to her. It was extremely difficult to tell her that but we were getting way too close to each other and how angered I felt when I saw her almost kiss that Adam guy just proved that Iwas too close to her. On top of that when I saw her today in her bridesmaids dress I felt butterflies beating in my stomach. She looked breatakingly beautiful but I wouldn't admit that to her.
I said as I plopped down on my bed. I hated hurting her but I had no choice. I had finally asked my father why I felt a certain way around her and he told me that a part of me, an animalistice side of me, wanted to drink her blood which was a huge problem seeing as how mine and my family's secret of being vampires needed to be kept. Unfortunately I had sacrifice my almost friendship with her. I couldn't sleep so I sat up with my back against the headboard of my bed. My hands were tangled into my hair as I hit my head against the wall. What the hell was wrong with me and why did I care how she felt? None of it made any sense to me.
As I woke up Adrian's words were repetitive in my mind.
'We're no friends and you don't mean anything to me nor do I care about you.'
I sighed as I got up. I grabbed a change of clothes and went into my bathroom. I bathed and brushed my teeth. My hair was now semi-straight but still somewhat curly at the ends. I changed into a pair of dark denim shorts and a white speghatti strap shirt with a button down plaid shirt that I left unbuttoned. I put on a pair of my black converse high-top sneakers. I went downstairs and grabbed an apple to eat. I left locking the door on my way out. I walked to the park and sat at an empty bench. Everything that happened last night was too much. Adam tried to kiss me, I met yet another possible sutor that my parents approved of, and someone who I thought was my friend doesn't give a damn about me.
Along with all that my parents have been constantly been at each others throat this entire time which usually results in either my mom, my father, or me, getting hit. As I leaned into the bench a girl not much older than 8 came up to me. She had long golden blonde hair that reached to her mid back and light blue eyes. Her skin was pale but she was a very pretty child. Her green dress adorned her innocent features as she smiled. She seemed like a sweet little girl but I couldn't help but notice that she resembled Adrian in way. I'm not sure if it was because I kept thinking about what he said but I truly thought she looked like him.
"um miss what's wrong? You seem sad." She said sweetly. I wanted to squeeze her cheeks because of how adorable she looked and sounded.
"I'm fine but wouldn't your mom or dad be mad if they saw you speaking to a stranger?" I asked not wanting to get her in trouble.
"You seem too nice to hurt me so I'm not worried. My name's Sophia by the way." She introduced herself and sat down next to me.
" I'm Alice it's nice to meet you Sophia." I introduced myself smiling at her.
"You have a pretty name and it is very nice to meet you. You know my big brother mentioned a girl that had your name." She stated smiling back at me. I became skeptical. It couldn't be. Mayabe it was a coincidence. Theres no way Sophia is related to Adrian.
"Really? Well what's your brother's name?" I asked wanting to know who he is.
"His name is Adrian." She stated. I felt shocked. I never knew Adrian had a younger sister well then again why would he tell me something like that when he doesn't care about me but then again why would he tell his little sister about me. I sighed again causing Sophia to look up at me questionably.
"What's wrong Alice?" She asked me tilting her head to the side.
"Oh it's nothing really I was just thinking about something." I stated. I felt her small arms warp around my neck gently.
"It'll be alright Alice." She said. I hugged her back and smiled brightly at her. Sophia's parents came over. They smiled at me.
"Hello Alice. It's nice to see you and Sophia have met." Sophia's mom said happily. Sophia got up and went to her mom.
"Mommy I like Alice. She's very nice and she's my new frend." Sophia stated excitedly. Her mom smiled at her. They each said their goodbyes to me then left. Having Sophia around made me feel better. I stood upand went home. When I got home my mother scowled at me in her hungover state. I ignored her and went to my room. It was usual for her to act that was so it didn't bother too much. I took of my sneakers and put them back into my closet. I heard my phone ringing so I pulled it out of my back pocket and answered it not bothering to look at the caller ID
"Hello?" I said when I answered the phone.
"Alice, how have you been since last night?" Malikye stated over the phone. I wasn't shocked that he called because we became good friends last night and I'm pretty sure my mother must've given him my phone number.
"I've been good what about you?" I asked rolling onto my stomach.
"I've been fine and I've been thinking about you. I was also thinking that you and I should meet up at tomorrow at resturant for lunch." He offered. I smiled . This was an oppurtunity to forget about my recent problems. I agreed and after a bit of small talk we hung up. I was excited about tomorrow.
~The next day~
I woke up around 10 am. Malikye and I agreed to meet around two. I had gotten up and took a shower. Once I got out it was about 11:30. I went downstairs after changing into my pyjamas and got something to eat. Once I was fed it was half past noon. I went back upstairs and opened my closet. I settled on a white spaghetti strap sundress that went a little on top of my knees and had seven buttons at the top with a sweetheart neckline. I put on wit flats with bows at the top of them. I picked my hair up to be half up and half down and tied the up part of my hait in a white ribbon with the rest of my hair falling loosly down my back. I was satisfied with my apperance. It was sunny and humid outside do I didn't bother to bring a jacket. I went downstairs to shockingly see Adrian there.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"I came here to talk." He stated walking towards me.
"I won't and can't. I have somewhere to be." I stated looking at the time to see I have all but thrity minutes until I suppose to meet up with Malikye. I walked passed Adrian and left. While I walked to my destination I thought about what Adrian had said to me the night of Layla's wedding. After what he said it made no sense that he would come to talk to me. I shook my head of those thoughts as I made it to the resturant with five minutes to spare. It started to unexpectadly poor rain when I walked in to see Malikye sitting down at a table. I walked over and sat down. We greeted each other. After we ordered we started talking.
"My parents expect me to be wed to some random girl someday." He stated randomly. I took a sip from my glass of water.
"I truly could care less about that but when I heard about you I recondsidered." my eyes narrowed supiciously at him.
"I think you'd fit the random slut my parents expect me to marry one day." I almost choked on my water at his words.
"Excuse me?" I asked i disbelief.
"I didn't studder. I'm suppose to marry some whore that I barely know and you fit that description." He stated smugly. I was boiling in rage at his cruel words.
"First of all I'm not a slut or a whore and you have no right to speak to me that way." I stated glaring at him.
"I have every right to state the truth. Now all I need to do is shower you with money and you'll be happy and end up doing exactly as I say without falte just like any other women." I was highly tempted to jump across the table and slap him but I refrained from doing so.
"How dare you! If that's how you see women you'll never be able to get one. You're just an ignorant women-hating boy who will never be fit to wed a women." I stated angrily while standing.
"Don't ever call me again. You might as well erase my number and don't you come near my family." I stated leaving. I was soon drenched in rain. The streets were partially deserted. I ran trying to get home. My flats had long since been forgotten. I had ran barefoot towards my house only to bump into someone.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." I said. I was about to stand when I felt a stinging pain in my knees. I looked down to see blood and my dress ripped. The ribbon had fallen out of my hair loosing it from it's confides. I stumbled a bit as I stood. I looked to see who I bumped into to see it was none other than Adrian. He looked at me with confusion evident as an expression. He looked at me up and down and stopped at my knee that was now bloody. I tried to stop the bleeding with my hand which was wasted effort. My hand was now coated in blood. It wasn't serious wound but it should be taken care of before it get's worse. Adrian looked pained and looked to be fighting something in his mind. He was also soaked with rain but unlike me he had a jacket. For a split second I could've sworn I saw his eyes change from blue to red but I could have been wrong.
After a few moments he walked towards me and took off his black jacet and wrapped it around my shoulders. It felt like a cliched movie. I tried to walk away from the wall that was helping me stay balanced but It was difficult to walk. Adrian noticed this and walked closer to me. He suddenly picked me up bridal-style and turned towards my house. I unconciously wrapped my hands around his neck.
"You know you don't have to do this." I stated looking away from him.
"You were having trouble walking so I'm just trying to help." He replied.
"I don't understand why you're even bothering seeing as how you don't give a damn about me." I stated harshly. He shifted uncomfortably. I started to move around to get out of his hold but he just held onto me tighter. I lightly blushed as h continued walking. We finally made it to the front of my house after a bit. I had gotten out my keys but Adrian snatched them away and unlocked the door. The cars were gone which meant like usual no one was home. Adrian walked up to my room dropping me onto my bed. He went into the bathroom and grabbed anit-septic and band-aids. He sat in front of me and grabbed one of my knees. He suddenly stopped when he saw that some blood got on his hands. He looked at his hands that now had blood on them and brought is up to his nose. I was confused by my actions.
When her blood stained my fingers I lost myself. I sniffed her blood on my fingers and my self-control snapped. Thunder roared outside as I was abosrbed in my own thoughts. Her blood smelled amazingly sweet. My throat started to burn as if hot candle wax was being poured down my throat.
"Adrian?" Alice asked but I was completely lost in the mess of my thoughts. Any self-restraint was now gone when I pinned her down. She hissed in pain from her knee. I nuzzled my face in the nape of her neck and inhaled her sweet and unique scent. I felt my fangs bar when my mouth came close to her neck. I was sure that my eyes were now red.
"Adrian what are you doing?" Alice asked trying to get free my grip. I started breathing heavily as my fangs came only a very short distance away from her neck. Any rational thoughts had been forgotten when my fangs pierced her neck.
I gasped sharply when I felt something pierce my neck. I didn't feel any pain but the realization hit me. Adrian is a vampire. Him biting me felt euphoric and I had to bit me lip to keep from letting any embarassing noises from escaping.
Alice's blood tasted intoxicating and highly addicitve. It took a few more gulps of her blood for me to snap back to reality. My eyes that had now turned back to normal had widened. I withdrew my fangs from Alice's neck then moved up a bit and looked down at her. I had just exposed my biggest secret and had no idea what to do.
"Alice, I-I'm so sorry, I..I had no Idea what I was doing." I stuttered unable to stop the blush that crept on my cheeks.
I was still in shock. Adrian was actually a vampire and he just bit me. Something else dawned on me. Can something happen to me if I'm bitten by a vampire?
"Adrian is anything going to happen to me?" I asked finally looking up at him. He shook his head.
"No nothing happens unless a vampire meant to turn you. I didn't and nothing is going to happen to you." I nodded in response. It was silent for a few moments.
"Alice, please don't tell anyone about this." Adrian pleaded.
"I would never tell anyone." I replied reassuring him. He smiled at me then sat up as I did the same. I moved my leg and the stinging pain in my knee returned.
"This is going to sting." He prayed the antiseptic onto the cuts on my knees. I had looked down and realized I looked like a mess. I sneezed and knew if I didn't hurry I'd probably catch a cold. I stood up and took off Adrian's jacket and handed it to him. I grabbed a change of clothes then hurried into the shower. After a relaxing warm shower I had changed. My hair was wet from washing it so I dried it out with my towel as I walked into my room. I was wearing a grey oversized t-shirt and black shorts. I had expected Adrian to be gone but he was sitting down on my bed holding his jacket in his hands.
"It's smells like you now." He said.
"Is that a good thing?" I asked avoiding his gaze.
"Yes it is because now it reminds me of you." He stated. I slightly blushed but shook it off.
"I don't see how that's a good thing considering you said yourself you don't care about me." I stated brushing out my hair while sitting in front of my vanity mirror. I saw in the mirror that he was looking down holding his jacket tightly.
"I didn't mean any word of that. I said that to push you away." He explained.
"Oh so you just don't want me around. That's even better." I responded sarcastically.
"No. I was trying to push you awayso I wouldn't get so close to you. I don't trust people. Also I didn't want you to find out about me being a vampire." He said. I turned to look at him I hadn't realized that he was similar to me. He didn't trust people just like me. I walked over to him.
"I understand why you felt that way. I don't trust anyone because I've been betrayed before. I understand now. I tried to act as if I didn't care about you but I couldn't." I admitted. He looked up at me shocked.
"I hated you at first because I didn't understand why a part of me cared about you. I tried to fight it and lie to myself telling myself I didn't care about you but none of it worked. I became so angry when I saw you with Adam and I didn't know why and then it hit me. It scared me how I began to care about you." He admitted. I sat down next to him. He turned towards me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I couldn't believe that I've only known him for a little more than two months and yet here I am with a him having his hands wrapped around my waist.
"I'm sorry for the way I acted. I'm sorry for treating you that way. I'm so sorry." He stated. I smiled as I wrapped my hands around his neck.
"I forgive you." I replied.
~4 months later~
I've now known Adrian for a little more than six months. It's December and Christmas break just started. I had woken up to snow carperting the ground in a freezing cold blanket of white. It's a week before Christmas. I had gotten up and showere. I wore a red sweater with a hood on it with a white shirt underneath. I wore a pair of dark skinny jeans and black boots that reached just below my knees. Mina Layla and I were going to the mall today to buy Christmas gifts. I grabbed my black coat on my way out. I passed my brother Daniel who was sleeping on the couch as I walked out the door and locked it. I made it to Mina's silver Mercedes that was parked in front of the house. I sat in the passenger seat while she drove to Layla's house.
"So what are you going to get for Adrian?" She asked in a sing-song voice.
"Who said I was going to get him anything?" I asked trying to avoid an answer.
"Oh please. You and him have been attached at the hip since September." She stated. I sighed before I answered.
"I'm not sure yet but I'll find something." I explained. We finally made it in front of Layla's house. She walked out looking worried which was unusual. Once she got into the backseat Mina and I both looked back at her.
"What's wrong Layla?" Mina and I asked in unison.
"Guys I think I may have a huge problem." he stated looking nervous.
"What is it?" Mina asked.
"I think I'm pregnant." I almost choked when I heard her say this. After my mess of coughs I looked back at her.
"You're pregnant?!" I yelled while Mina started the car.
"I might be. I'm only 19 and I'm not ready for this." She stated worridly.
"Does James know?" I asked. She shook her head. I sighed as we drove to the mall. When we did we hurried to the pharmacy and Layla bought a pregnancy test. We rushed her to the bathroom then awaited an answer. When she finally came out she looked at both of us nervously.
"I-It was positive." She stated nervously. Mina and I comforted her. She was scared but she had support.
"I'm sure James will be so happy to find out he'll be a father." I reassured her. She nodded and smiled. As we started going into stores we started talking about Layla's baby.
I sighed heaily. I was looking through countless stores trying to find something special.
"What's wrong man?" My friend, Jackson, asked.
"I'm trying to find a special gift for someone I stated." Jackson looked at me and shook his head. He knew who I was talking about. He sighed before he pulled my arm in the direction of a jewlery store.
"Every girl loves jewlery. All you have to do is get her the jewlery that she likes." He explained. He's really good at things like this because of his womanizer ways. We both waked into the jewlery store and looked around. I saw a necklace that I was sure she'd love. It was was heart-shaped necklace that was encrusted with diamonds and inside had red velvet that was meant to fit pictures. I smiled as I bought it. The price for it was around three-thousand dollars but I could care less about the price. I smiled as I walked out of the store with a small black bag with the necklace inside of it. Now all I had to do was wrap it. Jackson and I truned the corner only to bump into Alice, Mina, and Layla. We each gretted each other. I introduced Jackson to Layla and Mina while Jackson greeted Alice seeing as how he's known for a few months now.
We all headed to the food court and sat down. I hid the bad that had the neclace in it within my coat. Alice and I got up to head to the lines in front of a food place. Layla was busy calling someone while Jackson was flirting with Mina. Alice and I stood side-by-side on the line. My family and I would be staying over Alice's house for Christmas. I looked down to her before I spoke.
"So what was Layla so excited about?" I asked trying to start a conversation.
"She's prenant." Alice replied happily I smiled at her.
"That's great to hear." I stated.
"So Adrian you never told me what it is you wanted for Christmas?" I asked.
"Nothing." I replied truthfully.
"Oh c'mon there has to be something." She continued. I shook my head. There wasn't anything I wanted. She pouted cutely making me chuckle. We made it to the front of the line and ordered the foood for everyone. After everyone finished eating we all said our goodbyes and departed from each other. Jackson and I walked to my house talking and joking around.
Adrian and I had went to the store to picke up a few things. When we made it home we walked into the livingroom only to be caught under the mistletoe. Everyone ohhed and awwed while we each blushed. My father thankfully was out and Daniel was with thm so I didn't have to hear ther chastising. Adrian leaned down near my and we were about to close the small space between us when the doorbell rang. We both jumped in surprise and looked away blushing. I had excused myself to my room. My face was completely flushed. I almost kissed Adrian. I shook my head to rid those thoughts.
I opened my drawer to see the bag with Adrian's gift in it. He had said he didn't want anything but I got him something anyway. I thought it'd be perfect considering he had told me all about it. I smiled as I went into the bathroom and bathed. I changed into a pair of sweatpants and long-sleeve shirt. I walked into my room to see Adrian there. luckily it looked like he hadn't seen his gift. He and I talked til we both fell asleep. We woke up early and went downstairs to see the lit Christmas tree that was decorated in ornaments. Everyone was starting to get up and when the very excited Sophia had made her way down the stairs we started opening gifts. I got clothes from my family, a digital camera from Layla and James, and more clothes from Adrian's family. It was finally time I opened Adrian's gift and so I held the wrapped up box in my hand and opened the wrapping paper. I opened the velvet box that held a beautiful locket. I was so happy with my gift that I hugged him.
I mainly got clothes for my family like we do for each other every other and I did the same with Adrian's parents but for Emily I got her a beautiful porclein doll that she told me she had wanted. She pretty much tried to tackle me into a hug. I smiled at her and saw that Adrian had went upstairs with my gift. I went upstairs behind him and saw that he went into my room. He had the box in his hand but was utterly shocked at what he saw in it. Adrian had told me about a ring that his grandfather had. It was a family ring that had been passed down for generations but his grandfather lost it to another family in a wager gond wrong.
It had his family name engraved in the inside of it. He had told me that he would do anything to get it back and after a lot of tracking it down and hard work I was fortunate enough to find it. He gasped in shock as he pulled out the ring and placed it on his finger.
"It's the real thing the exact same one your grandfather had." I stated leaning on the door way. He turned to me and rushed over. He picked me up by my waist and swung me around.
"You don't know how much this means to me Alice. Thank you so much." He stated hugging me tightly. I hugged him back smiling. I was glad that I could make him smile so brightly especially on today.
I couldn't believe she did this for me. This ring meant everything to me and having on my finger was incredible. It showed how much she cared about me and I couldn't deny that I care about her deeply. We sat down on her bed in front of her.
"How did you do all of this?" I asked still in awe.
"I pulled some strings and tracked it down but it was worth it." she stated. I looked down at the ring that was gold with a ruby in and through the diamond you could see our family crest. I knew it was real because no replica had our crest in it. I was still in disbelief that she actually did this for me. Hugged her again overwhelm with happiness. I pulled away to look at her my hands cupping her cheeks. We both blushed but leaned closer to each other. Our lips met in an intense kiss.
One moment we're hugging the next we're kissing. For some reason I was happy about it but what I didn't expect was Adrian's tounge to prod at my mouth for entrance. When he did that he made me gasp which gave him entrance into my mouth. We fought for dominance but he inevitably won. I ran my hands through his silky tresses. His hands moved from my cheeks to my waist but before any more intesisty could ensue we were called downstairs. He and I pulled away from each other panting for air. We looked at each other completely flushed. I got up awkwardly and went downstairs as did Adrian.
My mother and Adrian's mom were serving breakfast while everyone was gushing over Layla's pregnancy. I drank my orange juice in silence as I ate. All I could think about was the kiss. It was my first kiss and it was amazing. His lips were incredibly soft and the kiss was intense and passionate. Throuout the day my mind had stayed thinking about the kiss. How can I ever forget about something like that?
Alright I hope you liked it please review. Bye for now!
