Felix Love, that's all everyone has been talking about for the past week. Felix this, Felix that, I mean is there any extent to the amount of rumors this guy can have surrounding him? Half the girls are saying they slept with him and the other half are actually trying. With the exception of Rhea and me, 'cause Rheas' completely head over heels for Xane, who's a total computer geek.

'Well it's not my fault I'm totally sexy.'

Oh, did I mention that I'm still hearing his voice in my mind? So, I literally can't get him out of my head.

'It's not just my voice, it's me talking to you. Unless you want me to actually talk to face- to- face, so you'll be mauled by tons of girls.'

How about this, if you 'talking' to me in my head isn't my imagination I'll be waiting behind the gym during lunch.

'Ok'

It's not like he'll actually be there right?

"SABRINA FAYE! STOP ZONING OUT DURING CLASS!"

I look up to see Mr. Hunter, my science teacher yelling at me. "Sorry Mr. Hunter." This has been happening all week.

"That was your last warning, I'm sorry Sabrina, but I have to send you to the office."

"Ok." I got out of my seat and hung my head in shame. 'This isn't even my fault, it's that stupid Felix's!' I walked down the hall towards my destination aka 'The Office of Hell'. I opened the door and see guess who? Felix Love, pouting his way out of the principal's office.

'Why're you here?'

'You.'

His pout turned into a smirk as he looked up straight at me. I'm actually starting to believe this 'mindreading' stuff

So, there I was. Waiting for Felix the supposed mind reader behind the gym.

'You're really waiting for me? And here I thought you didn't believe me.'

'I don't, but if the .9 percent chance that you aren't lying is true, I have to be here.'

"Sure that's it."

I spun around to find the one and only Felix, leaning up against the side of the building, smirking his ass off.

"So, you believe me now Sabrina?"

"…"

He took a step closer, I backed up a step. And then a wall appeared behind me, and Felix trapped me, his arms on either side of my head.

"Sabrina answer me." His attitude suddenly got serious.

I nodded my head.

"Say it, say you believe me." He pushed his chest against mine, mushing us together in a wall- Sabrina- Felix sandwich.

"I believe you."

He smiled and brought me into a hug, wrapping his strong arms around my waist, snuggling into my neck.

"Felix what are you doing?! Are you sniffing me?!"

"I can't help myself, your scent is delicious."

I squirmed, trying to get out of his grasp. "Let me go!"

"Sorry, no can do."

I calmed myself down, taking deep breathes. "Why can't you let me go?"

"Because your mine." He started kissing up my neck.

"I'm not anyone's and definitely not yours!" I lift my knee up quickly, hitting him in the nuts. He flinched, tensing up slightly.

"That's not nice."

"It wasn't meant to be!" I thrash around trying to get away from him.

"Do you hate me that much that I can't just hold you?" His voice suddenly got sad. I stopped moving, surprised.

"Why would I hate you? I don't know anything about you except your name."

"Oh. I didn't think about that…" He sat down against the wall, taking me with him and making me sit in his lap.

"Hey!"

"Oh sorry."

"And why do you like me so much? There a hundred other girls who are completely willing to be 'yours', so why pick me? The quiet, nonathletic girl that almost no one likes?"

"You're the only one I like."

I turn my head to stare straight into his bright teal eyes. "Are you serious? That's the best thing you could come up with? I bet you use that line on all the girls." By this time his grip on me has loosened enough for me to make my escape. I run away and don't look back, not even when Felix yells my name a thousand times.

I had been avoiding Felix the entire rest of the week, not replying to his telepathic messages (I hate to admit it, but I was getting pretty good at ignoring it), walking away whenever he tried to talk to me in person, and not answering his emails (I found out that Rhea, curse that little Asian, gave him my email address when he 'so politely' asked her for it).

"Sabrina, wait!" See, there he goes again

'Sabrina. Please wait.'

'Oh, that's a first. You actually said please instead of demanding.'

"I'm sorry, I wasn't in control. Please, let me at least explain myself."

"Fine." I turned around to look at him. "You have five minutes."

He grabbed my hand, "Ok, follow me."

'Ok, follow me.' Ended up being me being dragged by my hand to an empty classroom. He let go of my hand and sat down on a desk, I sat across from him with my arms crossed.

"Talk."

"So, you know how I'm telepathic?"

"Yeah." He concentrated, trying to find what he was going to say. When he seemed to find the words he was looking for, he sat up straight and looked right at me.

"I'm also a 'werewolf', as you humans like to call us, and you're my mate."

I laughed, hard. "You, *laugh* Felix? *laugh* A werewolf? And even if you are, *laugh* me, your mate? *laugh* you've got to kidding me."

"I can be telepathic and read your mind, but I'm not allowed to transform into a giant wolf and have super senses?"

"I suppose it's possible." I thought about it for a little while, "I won't believe you until I see it for myself." 'Sorta like innocent until proven guilty.' "But I," I pointed to myself, "am not your mate."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to. It should be my choice who I'm in a relationship with."

"Normally, humans do have a choice. But if they have a wolf mate, like you, they don't. Unless, for some reason the wolf dies, and wolfs don't get to choose, 'cause our mate is our fated one."

"So, you're telling me I have absolutely no choice?"

"Sorta?" He got nervous all of a sudden.

"What do you mean sorta?"

"Well, you don't have to be with me, you could go out with other guys, marry another person, fall in love. But I would be miserable, having to sit there rotting because I'm not the one making you happy."

"Oh."
