I'll be there

Watching from way up high

The shadows you can't see

When the suns in the sky

Wandering eyes have no disguise

It's obvoius that this love never dies

Never dies

Abandon All Ships.

We pass by hundreds of people a day, yet never wonder their names, their stories, their problems. Because we're all too wrapped up in our own lives to understand someone else's, but if we try what could be the outcome?

Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, and Pride.

Prudence, Justice, Temperance, Courage, Faith, Hope, and Love.

The seven deadly sins versus the seven cardinal virtues, a conflict if there ever was one.

Life once asked death, "Death, why do people love me yet hate you?"

Death answered "Because You are a beautiful lie, and I am a painful truth."

Truer words where never spoken.

Why is it so hard for us to except that sins are a more active component in our life, whereas we struggle to amend our virtues? Lust for power is inevitable what with our democracies, and government based economy. Then there's just Lust in itself, a desire to want someone in which we all have. Gluttony is a part of our every day lives as we consume more than we actually need. How many times have your parents told you not to be greedy? How many times have you said "I want that!" When in actuality you don't need it, so why would you want it? We are all envious of the people around us, and you can't deny that sprout of anger that grows in the very pit of your stomach when you see someone prettier than you, or someone that has more than you. Have you ever spoken the words "I hate you." Or "I hate them." ? congratulations, you have just completed your fifth deadly sin. Then there's sloth in which we all accomplish that sin when we don't do something we're supposed to do, procrastination my dear friend it's a scary thing. Then there's the last deadly sin. Have you ever had a fight with someone, and when you lose walk away? because you're angry that you lost and have a deflated pride? That's being prideful. Have you ever refused to say sorry to someone? That's being prideful.

Now can you tell me all the times you've been Prudent?

Justifiable?

Temperate?

Had Courage?

Had Faith?

Had Hope?

Truly felt Love?

In this screwed up society we have, where nobody is prudent and decide to let their feelings take control of their actions, where nothing is justifiable because innocent people are jailed for crimes they didn't commit, people who are different are judged and slaughtered. No one has temperance for anyone but themselves; scarcely even that. Rarely have I seen someone with the courage to stand up to a bully, or speak their mind for what's right. Faith is being sucked out of the human race more now than ever, and all hope has been lost.

Love is now a myth that people seek because they don't want to die alone.

I mean, who want's to die alone?

Yet the seven virtues are hard to come by, it's still there with the worlds hidden helpers, the ones we see in our every day lives but avoid because they're unimportant to us, they have no relevance to what we desire what so ever. But they're there, watching us, helping us, guiding us.

Our guardian angels.

Prudence.

Temperance.

Courage.

Faith.

Hope.

And Love.

They are there, you just have to look.
